COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught@CPH Beer Festival 2010 (old backlog). Hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, some wheat, citrus, spices, yeast and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite similar with some mild grainy notes as well. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherwise quite nice Hefeweizen interpretation.

Bottle. Milky straw-hued body with a big creamy white retention. Aroma is coriander seeds, wheat, banana and hints of citrus. Taste is herbal tones of pale malts, wheat, clove and faint traces of citrus, Belgian ale yeast and candy sugar, somehow. Full body. Sweet and unusually herbal and "Belgian" for a German hefe. Fooled me, at least. :-P Nice, regardless.

05-NOV-2011, draft @Braunstein. Hazy light yellow with white head. Fruity yeasty nose. Taste is tutti fruity with oranges and lemon and a touch of spices. Quite creamy with fine carbonation. Actually a fine little wheat here.

Draught at Plan B as Braunstein Hvede Øl.
Hazy yellow colour with huge white head. Sweet wheat aroma with lots of apple juice elements. Apple juice, metal and rust in flavour. Watery. I’m sorry to say this is pretty useless.
