Pours with a minimal head and has that look of a medium-bodied syrupy beer that you just know will taste sweet, sticky, and yucky. Smell is weaker than that though, with just a hint of sweetness and a lot of carbonation on the nose. Taste isn’t as awful as I expected - a weaker sweetness, caramels and malts, dry finish. I expected worse, but that doesn’t mean this is any good.

Test vom 27.9.2009, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 8,9,8,9,8,9 - 8,70

Can. Valreas. Typical syrup sweet strong lager. Many of these must be the same beer.

Can 50cl. A golden beer with low head. Aroma is quite sweet, bit too alcoholic, lot of barley sugar, some bitterness, no real hops flavor, not really bad but nothing to be tried again.

larsga (4661) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2010
Small white head. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Mealy chemical aroma with sugary alcohol notes. Dry-sweet honey and flour taste with resiny gasoline and alcohol notes. Fullish body. Hottish mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish papery chalky honey aftertaste with grainy alcohol notes. Far better than feared, but not very good. (0.5l can, E. Leclerc, Fondettes.)

Can, courtesy of MiP. It pours a clear, golden body under a small, off-white head. Weak nose with alcohol, fruits and malty sweetness. The flavor is pretty much the same, lacking on bitterness. Short finish with a bitter touch. Full-bodied, dry and warming. A decent beer considering it’s style, but I can’t imagine I’ll try it again. 091024
