Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein naturtrübes, ananasgelbes Bier mit mittelporigem, langlebigem Schaum. Am vergleichbarsten mit einem Zwickel. Der Geruchstest fällt ebenfalls zwickelähnlich aus. Säuerlich zitrusartig. Der Antrunk erfolgt weniger säuerlich als erwartet. Es hält sich in Grenzen, sogart eine süßliche Note kommt durch. Dazu gesellt sich eine dezent hopfige Note, die Süßlich fruchtige Note, gepaart mit einem frischen Zitrusaroma dominiert hier aber eindeutig! Gutes Sommerbier!

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 On tap. Medium hazy yellow colour with a white head. Nice fresh hoppy nose. A dry grain flavour with some fresh citric notes. Fresh and easy drinkable Kölsch .

0.2l Draught at Brewpub. Appearance is somewhat hazy, yellow color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is mild with bread, hay and a nice floral smell. Taste is light cereals, bread with a surprising subtle citrus orange tartness. Bitterness is more prevalent than with most Koelsch. Palate is light-bodied, soft texture, average carbonation, and a mild bitter finish. A very nice brew.

Cloudy blond color; generous, compact head. Delicate hop aroma, with traces of hay. Good body structure for a Kölsch, with dry malt flavor and strong hopping. Very solid beer.

My Bottom Line :
Spicy, wooden hops also develop tantalizing floral perfumes over this Wiess’s wet malt crackers.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam laces around the cloudy blond.
-Hops offer tantalizing rose-like, or even hibiscus-like, notes in the aroma. One wonders if a few hibiscus flowers they use in their Pink Panther were dropped in the kettle… ;)
-The hoppy finish provided peppery, wooden bitterness.
-The fluffy mouthfeel and outgoing hoppiness make this very drinkable.
-This may not be a Kölsch like the ones brewed in town, but it’s a very personable hoppier-than-usual, unfiltered version of the style (which some call « Wiess »).

War mit Kölschtrinker im Helios, Kölns kleinstem Brauhaus. Hier braut man eine ungefilterte Version des Kölsch - eigentlich ein Wiess. Das Helios erschien mir etwas arm an Kohlensäure und fruchtigem Aroma. Der Geschmack war dann auch sehr bananig. Im Nachgeschmack etwas Herbe. Insgesamt gesehen ganz in Ordnung. Etwas Außergewöhnliches ist das Helios sicher nicht.Test vom 22.10.2006, Gebinde: Fass

Aroma mild grainy character, rather dry for Kolsch. Hints of vegetable touches.
Appearance hazed medium gold with average white cap. Sparse lace. 3-
Flavor and Palate : Chewy mid bodied brew. Refreshing hop dryness. Hint of citrus hops ? interesting and quiet drinkable.

500 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Hazy orange colour with tiny white head. Looks like Fanta. Caramel and grainy malty aroma. Flavour is very grainy malty with some caramel and bitter grassy hoppy notes. Some bitterness in aftertaste.

Appearance : Clear yellow white foamy and creamy head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Some yeast and some malt with light fruity hops.Some herbal hops.
Taste : Nice malt and nice yeast. Some floral and herbal hops.
Overall : This was unfiltered if I’m not mistaken. It had an interesting yeast profile. Not as clean and refreshing as the filtered Kolsch but maybe a bit more complex. Very nice one.

(Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki) Poured pale golden and cloudy. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma was mildly grassy. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and herbalness. Aftertaste was herbal and fruity-
