UPDATED: JAN 9, 2009 Bottle swing top. Light unclear light to medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, grain, malt sour, light to moderate yeasty, sour. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy, lemon, spicy. UPDATED: NOV 16, 2009 50 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. citrus fruity aroma. Flavour is bitter, citrc fruity and light wheaty. Ends with a lingering fruit flavour.5-3-5-3-11=2.7

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a thick and creamy white head. Mild fruity and crisp hoppy aroma. Fruiity yeasty and slight bitter crisp hoppy. Smooth yeasty and lightmalty flavoured. Nice dry bitterness into the finish.6-3-7-3-13=3.2

Bottled. A unclear light golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of straw and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, straw, leading to a dry lemony finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with with a gigantic and extremely lively white head. Tart, citrusy nose. Medium body, tart and fruity with an astringent and dry finish. Infected. 161209

Draught@GBBF2009 (As Kölsch unfiltered). Hazy yellowish orange colour with small white head. Aroma is wood, some hops and earth. Flavour is nice grassyness, saltwater, maltyness as well as old earth cellary notes.

Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Hazy yellow coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of grass and hops. Fruity flavour of hops and grass. Hoppy finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow, small creamy head. Fruity salty nose. Dryish and creamy with vanilla and grass. Medium bodied with salty finish. Feels well made but lacks some depth. More modern style/superficial feeling than other kölsches from their hometown.

Bottle, 4.8%. Slightly spicy aroma. The flavour is a little sour. Lemon flavour, I wonder if it intended.

Draught @ Braustelle, Cologne. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head and lacings. Hay and grass. Smooth and hoppy. A bit of fruit. Really dry. Cologne’s most hoppy Kolsch. Great stuff.

Cloudy blond color; generous, compact head. Delicate hop aroma, with traces of hay. Good body structure for a Kölsch, with dry malt flavor and strong hopping. Very solid beer.
