Sehr ansehnliche tief dunkelrotbraune Farbe. Der Geschmack "feingliedrig". Klar säuerlich, aber nicht zu extrem & gewichtig. Dunkles Obst. Sehr komplex und abwechslungsreich. 0,33l/ca. 3 Euro direkt von der Braustelle, Köln.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Vintage 2013. BBE November 2016. Thanks to Erzengel! Colour is cloudy reddish brown with large white head. Bottle was little bit of gusher. Aromas and flavours: Berries, red berries, dryness, sourness and some malts. Very strange. Contaminated perhaps? I don’t recognize this beer from other ratings. Probably totally different beer as fresh.

Basically black, a small beige head. Woh, sweet salty sour spicy sweaty smoked aroma. Funky, but nice. Rubbery burnt taste. Smooth palate carbonation soft. Fullish. Pleasant tingle on the tongue both from hops and smokiness. Covers 6.8% under the craziness. Enjoyed.

Dark brown with sufficient foam. Nice sour smell. Wild sour smell with lactic sourness. Strongly carbonated. A stronger dark tart taste in the aftertaste. a bit overkill, but thanks for crafting it.

2014. This might be overloaded, let’s see. Hibiskus... there. Peated malt... there. Cask....a bit. Maybe. Not balanced enough. But nice to drink. The carbonation is not as bad as with their other Sour Ales. Too much milk feeling here as well.

Erzengel (7324) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2014
2013er edition. Smooth and malty beginning. Nice dark sour, woody aroma, dark red fruit. The mainpart is intense fruity-malty, only slightly bitter. Fresh and intense. The aftertaste has wood, fruit, probably a bit of floralness from the used hibiscus-flowers, smooth and nice with a moderate bitter finish! Great stuff!

Bottle from Secret Summer Santa 2014, thanks McTapps! Dark amber colour, white foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of dark fruit with vinous notes and some citrus. Very easy drinkable. Very enjoyable sour beer. I like this!
