Tap@brewpub. It’s unclear mahogany red with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and licorice. The flavor has a light sweetness and a light bitterness and notes of caramel, salty licorice, roasted malt and the finish si slightly dry - a nice dunkel.

Unclear - hazy medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light light toffee, toffee - butter notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, nutty, licorice notes, light butter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110920]

Röstig-süßer, gut abgepasster Antrunk. Sofort wird dasBier milder und verliert seinen röstigen Charme. Dieser kehrt erst zum Ende zurück, deutlich süßer als zu Beginn. Dennoch gefällt das Bier in diesem Status, die Würzigkeit ist sehr angeneh,. 9/9/9/10//9

On tap at the brewpub: Almost clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, quite stable and lacy tanned head; moderate fruity bitter-sweet flavour with a light roasty touch; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering dry roast-malty finish. O.K. and pleasant.....

Tap. Chocolate/caramel malt aroma. Dark orange-brown color with nice head. Caramel chocolate malt flavor with light grass hops finish. Nice dunkel.

Draught at the brewpub. Weak roasted aroma. Dark brown colour, seems a little hazy. Nice stable light brown head. The flavour is nicely malty, roasted with a hint of smoke.
