1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 cyrenaica (941) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2010
341ml bottle
5.0% ABV
I tried this beer on July 20, 2010 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a very pale gold, translucent, with a thin white bubbly head. The aroma was grassy malt and weak floral hops and ample metallic tones. The mouthfeel was weak bodied with ample carbonation. The flavour was stale malt, metal, and acid. An awful beer.

33 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Pale golden, frothy head. Very faint aroma, very faint flavour of sweet corn with more sweetness on the finish.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DuffMan (5191) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2010
Bottle. Light yellow gold, as you can see through the clear bottle. Slightly skunky aroma with the initial pour, then just weak cereal grains. Limp grainy palate with a whiff of grassy hops. Not godaweful, but pretty uninspiring.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 guil0000 (195) - New Brunswick, CANADA - MAR 28, 2010
Pours a clear yellow color with very small white head. yeast and weat aroma. flavor is pretty yeasty with no detectable hop. Overall a pretty standard cerveza.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 sinkhole (261) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 8, 2010
Pours a clear pale yellow with minimal head. Aromas of corn and yeast. Taste is fairly flavourless with just hints of the corn/yeast combo, no wheat or hops notes detected. It’s blandess won’t offend anyone, but it doesn’t make it memorable either.
1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 cfrancis (1766) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2009
Pretty dismal excuse for a summer beer. Skunky smell and taste is pretty crappy. If you are looking for a light cerveza during the summer, stick to Corona.
1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Strangebrewer (631) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2009
bottle. Pours clear light gold with white head. Off sweet corn aroma. Moderate carbonation. Light, crisp and clean. Does what it’s meant to do, keeps your mouth wet during a hot day. Not a good example of a cerveza but I’ve tasted worse beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 diBEERardino (12) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2009
BRAVA The Beer of Summer! I enjoy Brava while BBqing and lounging around. It has an easy drinking taste, that hits the palette softly, and has a short sharp aftertaste. I could drink these all summer. Good beer.
1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 26, 2008
[1707-20080914] 341mL bottle. Yeast-drenched floor and straw wheat aroma. Clear, yellow body with a long-lasting foamy white head and quick centralized bubbles. Initial flavour is yeast straw then finishes florally with a long wet yeast aftertaste. Light body is grainy and watery. Not appetizing.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 BytownJon (29) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2008
This beer gets beaten down pretty hard, but it aint as bad as the other buck a beers out there. Pretty smooth considering, yes no flavour to speak of but is that really the point with this segment?
