3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 micker (35) - Cambridge, - JUL 3, 2006
Drinkers must keep in mind what this is. It’s meant to be a afordiable alternative to Corona. No one could possibly ever argue that Corona is a good beer, but it does go down well in the summer. I personly think that Brava is better than Corona, and Brava is one of the cheapest beers in Canada and Corona is one of the most expensive. Not a hard choice which to pick.

355ml can pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles quickly leaving only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweet with a mild hop bitterness. Easy to drink, but not especially good, even when ice cold.

Pale lager that is supposed to be in the style of popular drinks like Corona but missing the quality.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 whitecap (217) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2012
Pours clear pale yellow with a minimal non-lasting white head. aroma of corn, malt and minimal hopping. Excellent imitation of other Mexican lagers but with a more off putting aroma and flavour. somewhat skunky. Poor.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 worldbeertaste (616) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2011
Pale yellow with a white thin quick disappearing head. Sweet corn, straw and stale hops. Grainy palate, medium carbonation. Yeast straw, watery sugar. Little bit pf paper. But it is easy on the mouth and when cold it is enjoyable. But wouldn’t recommend it.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 14, 2011
Originally rated November 2005. Last of my 4 brews for this Tropical Beerfest night. So this one is the only non-Mexican one. Brewed in Canada by Lakeport as a premium Mexican style. Pours a pale yellow, same as Corona. The white head is creamier and the lacing is better than the other three beers tonight. Decent malt scent, much better smelling than the Sol (which had a barn thing to it). Same watery mouthfeel as the others. Good crisp taste of clean mild malt. Quite refreshing and better than all other Mexican brews, with a higher ABV % as well. Note: The recipe has changed since and now it is one of those cheap corn beers, but back in the day - this was pretty good for the price for those who like those refreshing cervezas.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Lagerboy (416) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2011
Canadian industrial swill masquerading as Mexican industrial swill.
The weather has to be really hot, and the beer really cold for this to be enjoyable. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
2.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 zeek (134) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 17, 2011
Poured a light yellow with very fizzy head that fizzled out in 30 secs. Aroma is surprisingly good, but there is almost no taste. Mouthfeel is smooth and finishes very clean. This beer needs HOT weather to enjoy.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2012 Not a whole lot of substance here. If you go to canada to get a light beer, steam whistle is the way to go.

Pale pour. Grassy aroma which continues in the flavor. Not much here at all. Pretty bland and basic.
