1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 MrManning (1945) - London, - APR 17, 2009
Bottle from the beer store- This brand has been "brought" back from the dead. A very pale straw pour, with a quick fizzy cap, no lace. Nose is almost all grains, some fruity components, wet paper. Tastes of sweet light grains, wet paper, a touch of hops maybe at the end. Spritzy, quick, dull.

Father inlaws brother brought some to easter! Yay! "hey Rob, would you like a Brava Light? " "would i, hell yeah!" this was quite the foray into light beer territory. Good god, this is nothing but a mash of corn, and cheapo grains, with some grass included. Well atleast it tasted like slmething. Nice to see they were able to get rid of that pesky aftertase and finish that i know everyone hates. Awesome stuff!
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
Originally rated June 2009. Well, Lakeport has re-released this Light version of the Brava (they had a few years back). At The Beer Store, it is highly advertised and they are pushing on it for this summer (2009). This info is probably the best thing of this review... ha, ha. Pours a pale golden colour with a white fizzy-foam head that does not stay long and hardly has lacing. Big bubbles are all around the glass, so quite fizzy. Malt piss nose with a little corn taste, but also, this chemical aftertaste of raw sewage. Almost like vegetables gone bad. It is quite yuckie overall.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kcsun (1) - - FEB 26, 2011 does not count
It’s a light beer, it’s a discount beer and it’s made by a big beer company.
You get what you pay for - its not a beer for beer snobs. If you want a light, clean taste, you got it. Not malty, no aftertaste, no skunky flavour. Easy to drink.

[3559-20110119] 341mL clear bottle. Corn and rotting haystacks aroma. Clear, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Sweet corny yeast flavour. Light body. Not repeatable, not pleasant. (2/2/2/2/3) 1.1

2011-01-19. Sweet grainy aroma has small hints of skunked hops, light touches of lemon both in a good way and a not so good way. Flavour is pretty mild, and mostly inoffensive. Sweet sort of industrial cereal grains, very slight bitterness. Average to light palate. Less bad than expected, but not particularly endearing either. Bottle from the LCBO

Smells of corn and adjuncts, straw yellow, tiny white head. Taste is muted corn and rice, light bodied and listless.

Clear bottle 341 ml
Appearance: plain pale golden look with light fizzy thin white top 2- Nose: Aroma of cardboard with hone and sugary dust, slight off fruity hints. Flavor/Palate : Very thin bodied. Plain, flat almost flavorless malt expose. Very little going in here and what is present is not very welcoming. Hint of honey mid late. Very slight oily finish. This brew would not win against targeted competition Corona and that says plenty.

Sample from the Beer Store.
I don’t think I would have really ever bought this so I was thankfull for the sample that was at the store that helped me save some money if I was ever to buy this.
When I drank it the lady asked me what I thought. And I said to her, "Do you really want to know?" She was like, "Ya" and I gave it to her... man was she disappointed. I saw her face go from happy to why are you even here in about 1 second.
Pale yellow with no head. Aroma is grainy and shallow. Sweet flavour is really bland and very watery. No aftertaste. Not offensive at all.
