Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy deep golden colour with pale orange hints, topped with a rich dense white foam. Sweet and a bit sugary aroma of orange-marmalade, mild yeast and apricots with hints of white pepper and lemon-peels. Full-bodied with a sweet fruity flavour of over-riped oranges, apricots, nectarines and sugar with mild spicy, herbal and yeasty undertones. The mouthfeel is surprisingly clean and thankfully lacks chewy cloyingly sweetness as the the flavour promised. Canned oranges and apricots in the long fruity aftertaste with touches of almonds, banana and gentle herbal yeast. Well-brewed and certainly not bad but a bit too sweet for me.

Hazy golden ale with a super rich creamy white head. Aroma is very fruity ans sweet, with notes of vanilla, cardamom, cream and light alcohol. In mouth, an interestingly sweet fruity cream, notes of bubblegum, light coriander and belly warning alcohol in final. A bit too sweet for me, but very engaging, this one. Bieropholie import.

Bottle. Light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110208)

Gold blond beer with a nice white head. Spicy and breadlike aroma and taste. Nicely balanced. Cinnamon? Very nice. It doesn’t always have to be a bitter beer.

In short: Basic sweet and fruity tripel with citrusy hops and dry finish. Ok.
How: Bottle 330ml, probably 3 months old or so.
The look: Partly cloudy golden body with a medium off-white head leaving good lacings
In long: Fruity flavours dry oranges, bananas and citrus juice blend in with the sweetness that reminds me of a crusty sugar pie. Fluffy chewy body, rather yeasty. Finish is surprisingly dry despite the citrusy hops taste being more dominant than the dry grassiness. A bit spicy with the usual coriander but only a little. Competent Tripel but there are plenty of far better options to chose from in this classic genre. Conventional. If all Apostles were so unadventurous they would have talked Jesus into settling down and taking a job at the market. There would have been no Bible and therefore no wars.

(Rating #1316)

Bottle: Poured a copper color with an off white color head. The aroma is sweet and almost veggy like to my nose, possible fruit in there as well. Nice sweet malt with that suttle fruit and spice, finish was just hoppy enough to bring real character to this triple!
