Hazy blond coloured beer with some average carbonation and a small white head. Herby spicy yeasty aroma. Full palate. Finish is full bitter with some yeasty touches. Medium one.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow orange color, huge white head. Aroma of raw bread and light spice. Taste is yeasty, straw, hi carbonation. OK.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy yellow beer with medium head. Nose is very yeast like, much ester in the nose not balanced. Aroma is very alcoholic like, sweet, wheat notes, notes of diacetyl, yeast, over riped fruit, very unbalanced, very strange, butter like, oxidized.

Bouteille de 33 cl. Couleur orangée, trouble, joli col blanc de tenue très correcte. Une triple fruitée et épicée assez archétypique de la tradition belge. Classique mais bien fait! Trouvée à Vanuxeem - Ploegstaert.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Hazy, pale amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with orange peel, peaches, marmalade and some toast. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, caramel, marmalade and a spicy finish with a certain hop bite. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

A Proefbrouwerij tripel. Good example of the style, grainy alcohol, secondary fermentation fullness. Seems to have been commissioned by some bloke called Claude.

Bottle, 8%. Gusher. Yeasty aroma, baking yeast, some sugary fruit. Dark copper colour, flooded with nasty looking floating bits. Big stable off-white head. The flavour is rather sweet with a distinct alcohol level to balance. Good fruity sweetness and also a good, clean grapefruity bitterness to finish.

Pours into a chalice with perfect head, foggy yellow colour, plenty of carbonation. Aroma of hops and alcohol. Taste is smooth and earth with a soft but sharp finish. A nice triple, not too harsh, and the alcohol is nowhere to be found.

Bottle at bar the Hopduvel @Gent, about 1.5 years old. Light orange, nice big head, holds good. Smell is malty, spices and citrus. A bit earthy also. Not bad. Caramel, spiced, fruity, earthy. Not bad at all. Bitter-sweet; Also at the finish. Sweeter when warming up, a bit to cold served for sure.
