Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England

Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing to lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted - caramel, sewer notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101201]

Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 2 (beer #16) on 1 December 2010. Dark amber/copper colour - I wouldn’t really call it ruby. Low condition. A little sweetness. Some caramel and berry fruits. Pleasant enough, if unspectacular.

On gravity at the Swindon Beer Festival, 29/10/09. Deep copper in colour with a slight white head. Earthy malt and grassy hop aroma. Flavour of biscuit malts, summer fruits and a long, bitter finish. Good.
