On gravity at Bristol beer festival, 19/03/10. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of sweetish malts with a touch of fruity hop. Slightly yeasty flavour, with a touch of apricot and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Fest ’12. Amber with white head. Good, pleasing fresh tasting bitter, lasting on the palate, good, juicy, fruity hops with apricot and gooseberry notes for me. Dryly bitter, pretty decent.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some earthy hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hoppy hints.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light roasted - nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

Cask@GBBF2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some resiny notes as well as mild floral and some malty notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, some mild notes of flowery notes. Balanced and nice.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight roasted. Bitter, malty and light herbal. Bitter, dry and toasted malty. Ends bitter and dry.

@ Pulteney Arms, Bath. Golden-amber. Fruity, slightly malty arom6a. Spicy (pepper) character with complex toasty notes, caramelized onions (mix of smokey phenols and caramelized sugars) and balancing fruity character.

Cask @ Pultney Arms. Bright red. Sweet malty aroma of dried berries. Soft palate. Spicy, especially in the finish like in the back of the throat. Smokey too. Some pure malt sweetness at the end as well. Not too wacky, just a step towards creative brewing. Very unique, interesting, and impressive beer. Totally its own thing.
