Glouglouburp (4780) - Montreal, - SEP 13, 2009
In short: A slightly tart and grapefruity pale ale. Simple but satisfying and very refreshing.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Partly cloudy dark yellow body topped by a small persistent white head
In long: Nose has grapefruits and cereals. Taste is crisp and refreshing, I know brewpub beer are fresh brews but this one really tasted crisp and fresh. Well malted, crisp cereals, a touch of honey, light yeasty notes, some grapefruits, a little lemony, medium bitterness, refreshing mild tartness. A very nice thirst session beer if you want hoppy with a little tartness. 1492, the year Christopher Columbus discovered American, because the native Americans were, I don’t know, always looking at the sky and never noticed they were walking on something.
