3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Originally rated on 9/21/14. Nice aromas of chocolate, coffee, roasted pecan and touches of licorice, they were all there but on the faint side. Standard black body, the head was on the thick and frothy side and it had fair retention and left spotty lace. Flavor started out as pure burnt, charred bitter coffee grounds, quite off putting for me. Thanks fully as it warmed and my palate adjusted that flavor backed off and some chocolate came out and some of the bitterness went away. Overall it was average, however i would be willing to give it another try one day.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Zero aroma, amazingly enough because this beer has a lot of flavor, including chocolate, espresso and cinnamon at the finish. Better than average.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour. Big tan head. Little bit of lacing. Aroma of coffee and hints if dark chocolate. Slightly acrid. A slight sourness. Chocolate and coffee continue in the mouth.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber pours stout-black with a dense creamy head that looks almost nitro. Roasted malt and chocolate. There are probably better stouts for making a beer float but seeing as this is from the hometown of Blue Bell, I just may have to give it a try.

draft .. deep brown black .. mild roast and tar .. easy to drink, solid stout- and the abv is very well masked, amazingly so..
Everyone says that we should help and care for our elderly neighbors.....
Fuck that. My 82 year-old neighbor is such a lazy bitch. She hasn’t even brought her newspaper in for three weeks.
