Bottle - Grapefruit and some pine with a malty backbone. Clear copper with a foamy head. Grapefruit and resin with a strong bitterness that tapers quickly. You can feel the alcohol in the finish. Not bad.

Spicy, floral, and citrus hop notes grace the sweet aroma. Hazy copper body topped by a decent white head that recedes to cover with some lacing. Hop forwards flavour delivers what the aroma suggests with a nice supporting malt base and moderate to strong bitterness. Moderate for a PNW IPA that is. Medium bodied with decent carbonation.. Enjoyed on tap at Portland Craft.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 trujahwarrior (267) - Monroe, Washington, USA - APR 1, 2013
Pours a hazy copper color with a thick creamy head that leaves amazing lacing. Smells of citrus, caramel, pine, and resin. Tastes of all the same things with the citrus being the most prevalent flavor. This is also very hop forward. Mouthfeel is chewy and creamy with good carbonation and a dry finish. Overall this was a really good tasting northwest style ipa highly recommended for any hop head.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ACHops (281) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2013
On tap @ Tippe & Drague. Pours dark orange with thick creamy very lacey head. Aroma is mildly sweet malt. Taste is medium caramel malt with big juicy citrus hop flavors. Notes of orange, passion fruit, lemon, and grapefruit. Bitter on the finish. Sizable abv for a standard IPA. Honestly not a standout among excellent WA IPAs, but not at all bad.

Pleasant aroma balanced tween the caramel sweet and the hop musky. Clear light amber with modest off white head, a little ehh in the mouth.. Flavor is woodsy, with caramel and distant cardboard, Dry finish
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 jonno (2001) - JAPAN - FEB 20, 2013
This has a huge body for 7.5% percent (or there abouts). Almost too much - talking DIPA territory here. Luckily it’s pretty hoppy to go along with this malt rush. Other than the oppressive body it’s not too much different from your average, albeit drinkable, PNW IPA. Good combo with the ballsy Amarillo and woody, slightly more refined Simcoe.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 burnabyt (21) - - FEB 17, 2013
High carbonation, and soft pillow of white foam on top. Recedes a bit then floats on top of a gold orange body. Slightly spicy almost Belgian aroma. Mouthfeel is dry, sharp carbonation, medium body. Taste is lightly bitter, spicy jalapeño Gouda cheese, toffee, and passion fruit. Seems quite a bit different than most NW IPAs. Drinkable even at 7.2%, but there are better IPAs in Washington and BC.

On tap at The Met in New West. A cloudy orange-amber color, with a whitish head. Fruity, citrus hops on the nose. Very bitter and citrus on the tongue. A bit of malt in the background is all. A very nice IPA.
