COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly a collaboration with Ninkasi Brewing. IGA highlights the route that lots of new hop bombs are headed: light in body, lighter in color, and HUGE in citrus flavor and aroma. India Golden Ale or "I.G.A." is a showcase for two relatively new hops, Mosaic and Eldorado. Mosaic gives the beer a bright mix of stonefruit and tropical flavors along with a big piney backbone. Eldorados are fruity and soften the finish. Breakside keeps the malt bill incredibly simple to allow the hops to take center stage in this elegant and beguiling beer. 8.1% ABV 60 IBU malts: 2 Row, British Munich hops: Mosaic, Eldorado, Chinook

Bomber. Clear gold with a large, foamy off white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of peach, mango, tangerine, stone fruit, pine, biscuit and melon. Flavor is the same, citrus and stone fruit upfront with some pine and biscuit and yeast. Medium bodied, smooth with a dry end.

On tap at Imazato. On tap at Imazato. A lovely gold with a a fruity citrus hop bouquet. Medium to full with a smooth mouthfeel. It’s got a pine, lemon rind and bitter fruit hop flavor. Solid solid stuff.

Smells like nectarines and oranges. Slightly hazy straw yellow lasting inch of head. Smooth citrusy hops cool and refresh your mouth leaving an enjoyable soft pith feeling behind.

Aroma of dank tropical fruit and resin, earthy a little as well in the flavor. Slightly sticky feel with good retention and a nice hoppy crisp finish.

650ml brown bottle. Pours out a pretty clear golden colour, holds a nice white head and leaves messy lacing in the glass. Nose shows a mix of tropical fruit/peach and green raw hop. Taste has malt sweetness, citrus, mild tropcial, grassy, green hops. Finishes with grassy and piney notes, bitterness is medium. Emjoyable. Great label.

A bit overrated for me. Pure gold body with a bright white head. The aroma is vegetal and grassy with a blandness. Not resin or pine. A bit underwhelming with a lack of sticky resin on the profile. Hmm this is interesting. Light spice, pinch of floral hops. Boring and not big and sticky as I would expect.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2016 On tap at Alibi. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, sweet, citrusy, tropical fruits. Taste is the same plus some resin notes. Piney bitterness, slightly sweet aftertaste with some alcohol notes. Well done.

Draught @ Breakside, Portland, OR. Pours golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, fruits and hints of tropical notes. Taste is sweetish, fruity and hoppy with loads of citrus, grass, tropical notes and hints of grapefruit. Finish is smooth, sweetish and hoppy with some fruits, tropical notes and citrus. Okay DIPA.

From a 22. Pours a near-clear light gold with a one finger white head and good lacing. Smells very hoppy, citrus, clean. Very strong hop flavor, almost scathing, lots of alcohol in the taste. Plenty bitter and an everlasting aftertaste. Hop extreme.

Purchased from NW Growlers for $8. The pallet seems to skip. This is a little a little fruity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
