3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the Growler Guys, Portland, OR.
Clear deep golden colour with a mid-size white head.
Sugary sweetness, candies, hops, mild bitterness and sweet caramel malt in a over-sweet aroma.
The flavour is resiny and grapefruity hops, sweetness, moderate bitterness and sweetness. Way too sweet for me.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From the bottle, and from the tap.
Tap experience is always better, the perpetual freshness of the brew is evident in the keg, packs a nice mango flavor with some citrus notes immediately after, has a nice hoppy finish, a go to IPA for sure.
Breakside bring on the Double-IPAS!!
From the bottle the whole body of the IPA seems a wee bit heavier, I think I may be getting sourced some older bottles of the beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from Trader Joe’s. Crystal clear copper in color upon pouring. First whiff is pungent grapefruit peel and is followed by some underlying tropical fruit notes. Hopped up front with some grapefruit and a solid malt base. A little sweetness follows. Dry hoppy finish. A little bit of a syrupy sweet quality as well. Nice and clean, like a well brewed beer should be.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Watering Hole for American Beer Week: Oregon. Served in a shaker pint. Nice amber color with a modest off-white head. Big aromas of resin and grapefruit. Malts show on the palate through a hint of sweetness but overall this is a fruity, citrusy IPA. Great refreshingly tart citrus finish.
