COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic India Pale ale style - the favorite craft beer of the Northwest. This amber colored brew is loaded with four different types of hops during the brew day and then gets dry hopped. Our IPA has a huge citrus and pine character with a strong, but refined bitterness.

Clear deep golden hue with a large fluffy ivory head. Giant juicy nose that’s beautifully full of orange rind, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and sweet melon tones. Smooth and delightful flavor that’s somewhere between crisp and fluffy, but also citrusy bitter but balanced by lots of pale malty smoothness. Somewhat grapefruity and grassy and slightly tropical on the flavor, just a little sweet and just the right amount of American bitterness for IPA status.

650ml bottle from Craft Beer Cabin, thanks Guillaume for buying. Aroma: intense grapefruits, citrus and some delicate notes of pines. App: cloudy copper, medium frothy off white head. Taste and palate: medium body, kinda fluffy mouthfeel, fruity, moderate bitter finish. Overall: I like it. A typical IPA like I used to really enjoy. These days I much prefer NE type of IPAs (juicy and not mut bitter) but this really good. Reminds me of Le Castor Yakima but more fluffy/creamy. I still enjoy this style of IPAs, just a tad less than NE IPAs, basically those that come from MA. Anyway, another good beer from Breakside.

Seems much lighter than you would expect given the style and description. Good beer though.

(En fût à la source et partout à travers Portland): Chlorophylle, tangerines, minéraux, corps svelte et collant, à la Russian River, mais également très juteux. Superbe et une des plus solide IPA disponible localement.

650ml bottle. Strong grapefruit and orange aroma. Pours a cloudy orange/bronze with a frothy off-white head. Lots of citrus flavour - grapefuit, lemon & orange. Also some pine notes and some toffee. Very well balanced. Creamy texture and a sharp bitter finish. Excellent IPA.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, ivory head, with moderate lacing, over a clear, effervescent dark amber (SRM 120 body.....nose is citrus, resin, light allium, grass, light toasted malts, balance to the hops........taste is slightly sweet, with light floral honey notes from the malts, pine, resin, citrus notes, with light allium from the hops, finishing with a moderate, lingering hop bitterness......mouth feel, light of medium body, slight alcohol, high carbonation with mild acid. This is a quite typical American IPA. The light malts are typical of the newer style of IPA which completely showcase the hop variety and complexity. The only flaw is the light allium (onion, chive, garlic, leek) tones, which are a function of the amount of hops used, the types of hops, and the conditions of each years individual harvest. After all hops are a natural product with attendant variability. BJCP 8/3/14/5/7

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention does not recede. Mango and passion fruit aromas. Dry with sweet bready caramel and citrus upfront turning to pine in the lasting finish.

Bomber from Wachusett Wine & Spirits. Pours out a slightly hazy light golden amber. Nice looking frothy off-white head. Earthy-pine-citrus aromas and flavor. Clean drinking with a light sweet honey malt body. Long bittersweet finish.

Couleur de cuivre avec une petite robe blanc. L’arôme à plein de pin et un peu d’agrumes. En bouche il y a d’abord du malt, puis un peu d’agrumes et plein du pin. Très bonne, une grande IPA.
