Our take on the classic India Pale ale style - the favorite craft beer of the Northwest. This amber colored brew is loaded with four different types of hops during the brew day and then gets dry hopped. Our IPA has a huge citrus and pine character with a strong, but refined bitterness.

Appearance: hazy amber with two fat fingers of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and lacing. (5/5) Aroma: citrus, pine, pale malt, tropical fruit. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry finish. (4/5) Well balanced A/IPA with bright citrusy and piney hops, and just enough pale malt to support, without any suggestion of malt forwardness. Solid and pleasant. (16/20)

650ml brown bottle. A nice looking beer - deep golden colour, light haze, long lasting white foam. Nose has pine, citrus and a lot of fruitiness. Taste has a light malt backbone with citrus, pine and fruity hops. Dry end with yeasty notes, piney aftertaste, mild bittering. Overall a well put together IPA.

Bottle from a friend. Hazy copper pour, nice fluffy head. Aroma is classic West coast: pine, citrus, slight caramel malt. Taste is the same. Nice.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, grapefruit zest, orange zest, peach and melon. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit zest, earthiness and orange zest with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

22 Oz bottle poured. Thick, cloudy orange pour with a soap bubble head. Nice piney hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced piney hops, citrus and bread malt. Has multiple characteristics that individually make IPA’s great. Awesome beer here.

Drafft on tap at Naked Wines (Bend, OR). Pours a decent hazed glowing amber hue. A bit darker, lively bubbles through the body with frothy whitish head atop. A decent layer, subtle frothy ringer laces nice enough. A fall sunset glow on the bottom and edges. Aromas are pithy and bitter, a firm hop profile is citric, grapefruit and florals with a bit of caramel malt, bread and earthy bitterness. A subtle tropical waft, faint guava and bitter fllorals. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a touch of body but not sweet. Bitter lemon and grapefruit meet a kiss of tropicala life, firmer floral bitterness and some fuzzy bitterness. A bit of earthiness, biscuit and subtle carmelized appeal. Bitter florals, a touch of stale dried florals, tapering grapefruit and earth. Finish is dry, sufficient bitterness and fruity jabs. A touch more body and some mellow dulled life. Green and leafy bitter hops, florals. Solid stuff, I think. A touch sweeter, not as big of a popping hop presence but certainly a doable, fresh and well crafted IPA.
