Our take on the classic India Pale ale style - the favorite craft beer of the Northwest. This amber colored brew is loaded with four different types of hops during the brew day and then gets dry hopped. Our IPA has a huge citrus and pine character with a strong, but refined bitterness.

A tasty, tropical IPA that reminds me of my time in Maui. Creamy, with a nice rough bitterness in the finish.

Smells slightly skunky in a good way, has hints of grass and citrus undertones. Has a beautiful golden color with a slightly tan head. Light sweetness, lightly bitter, light to medium body with moderately lively carbonation. Has a slightly astringent maybe lightly bitter finish. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer. Flavorful but not too bitter or sweet and beautiful to look at.

Poured a finger of head on a clearer medium straw colored body. The aroma is bright lemon, grapefruit and orange. A wonderful combination. The taste is moderate to strong bitterness of grapefruit. It’s balanced nicely with the malt. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A really nice IPA.

Bomber. Citrus, pine and caramel. Other sweet flavors found in the background. Bitterness throughout. Solid IPA finish.

Poured from a bomber. Thick, foamy head. Smells a bit dank, taste is on the yeasty side but the hops come through. Unique IPA i'd try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle from "Trader Joe" in Salem OR. $3.79 This IPA is a deeper amber colour..unusual for style and a small yet lasting thick and creamy white head. very strong and fresh hop aromas...resin and pine take the fore..some malts in the backing. Taste is mainly resiny hops mixed with caramel hops with a finishing stroke of grapefruit hop..tastes very fresh but i doubt that it is! Good refreshing well carbonated mouthfeel. Very nice drinkable IPA

Had this tonight at the 10 Barrel Boise IPA Beer Wars and it was certainly in my top 3 of the 16 IPA’s on tap tonight. Orange brew with a nice hop haze... great head and lacing. Tropical fruity hoppiness punctuated by a big grapefruit zest essence... very balanced light pale malt presence. Very drinkable with a light body and good carbonation... seems pretty damn fresh.

Draught at Breakside Restaurant & Pub Brewery in Portland. Good deep piney nose, with some Brit maltiness. Medium straw color. Healthy bitterness / gets herbal and stronger / finish is a slow change to balance. Very pleasant. Medium body. Pretty good, but not a standout.

Bomber for under 4$. Pours a dark copper color with a large white head. A fresh fruity nose: caramel, big resinous hops. The flavor is excellent: citrus, medium bitterness, resin, big resinous burst, caramel, toasted malt. Damn nice. Lingering resin and bitterness. Tastes much bigger than 6%. Great beer. My first from Breakside.
