COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic India Pale ale style - the favorite craft beer of the Northwest. This amber colored brew is loaded with four different types of hops during the brew day and then gets dry hopped. Our IPA has a huge citrus and pine character with a strong, but refined bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub in Portland, OR. Pours a cloudy, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral grapefruits with touches of pine resin and a grainy malt backing. Flavor is similar. Grapefruit citruses with a good amount of grass and florals up front. Grainy malt backing with a few pine resins before this finishes dry, somewhat spicy, and moderately bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid IPA. Well hopped and bitter with a nice grainy malt backing. Good one.

On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma of bitter resinous hops, pine, and creamy buttery malts. Flavour of bitter piney and resinous hops, and super-creamy buttery malts. Full-bodied, super piney and with such a creamy mouthfeel. Pleasantly surprised by this – excellent stuff.

Sampled at GABF 2012. Orange color, creamy white head. Cream soda aroma, pine. Flavor is the same, cream soda, orange soda, pine. Blech. Way off.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2012 Cloudy dark orange with a short head. Nose of sweet orange, resiny pine, and grass. Light sweet, medium bitter flavor. Lots of fruit. Medium body, resiny-oily texture, soft carbonation, and a big grapefruit bitter finish. Nice IPA.

Tap @ Breakside... Poured amber with a thick, frothy, eggy head that had nice retention. The nose was solid. Big hop and citrus punch. Flavor profile was malty and husky. Bready, cracker malt, some hop bitterness, and a hint of chemical soap. Earthy, pepper spice, citrus, and more hop bitterness in the finish.

Powerful but not over vegetal. Good mixture of pine and citrus. Nice and sparkly too. One of the better IPAs of late for me. Another strong effort from Breakside.

On tap at PDX Beer Week with Carla. Pours deep orange with off-white foam. Smells very floral and possibly a little skunky. Tastes initially very sweet of floral hops but ends very bitter of something akin to asparagus.

Draught. Cloudy orange pour with thick white head. Balanced hop aroma, floral and citrus. Hop body, with a light bit of maltiness. Hop finish. Good with curry
