COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic India Pale ale style - the favorite craft beer of the Northwest. This amber colored brew is loaded with four different types of hops during the brew day and then gets dry hopped. Our IPA has a huge citrus and pine character with a strong, but refined bitterness.

2014-02-27, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-5-8-5-15=40
Hazy light amber color with creamy head. The malt base is good, with toffee accents; the hopping is good as well with tropical fruits, mango, and light animal component; this last one limits a bit the drinkability.
Good and fresh.

2014-01-10, bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver, 8-5-7-5-16=41
Amber color, clean, with medium sized compact head. Aroma is strong, a lot of hop character, very animal, some cat piss. Caramel flavor with a lean mouthfeel; quite dry; strong animal character, cat piss, hop resins, bitter oranges (in the order). Long final.
Excellent and aggressive IPA.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent gold with a near white head. There’s a cooked stone fruit aroma, backed by some citrus and caramel. Med body or better. Flavor is citrus, peach, maybe pine. With caramel. There’s a slight hop burn. Finishing bitter, and towards dry. Very fruity. Very hoppy. Nice stuff.

Taste comprises a nice pine bite, juicy hops, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, light mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, good hop bitterness in the finish. A most decent IPA.

Bomber shared at a tasting, 11/3/14. Pours a hazy amber with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of floral, citrus, herbal hops, pale malt. The taste is caramel malt, piney, citrus and candied citrus hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, well balanced.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2011 clear copper/amber body. crystal malt notes (soggy grains, caramel/toffee, bread crust) with limp, wet hop aromatics in the nose. low acid and relatively low bitterness for the style; this flabbiness along with the rounded, chewy and syrupy body leave me frustrated once again with oregon-made IPA. i’d like to point out that india pale ale includes the word ’pale’ ಠ_ಠ - that all said, i’m really excited to announce this rating as Oregon Beer Rating #666. yeehaw.

On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma of bitter resinous hops, pine, and creamy buttery malts. Flavour of bitter piney and resinous hops, and super-creamy buttery malts. Full-bodied, super piney and with such a creamy mouthfeel. Pleasantly surprised by this – excellent stuff.
