COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We always wanted to make a year-round German-style Pilsner. Both because it tastes great and it’s a favorite of ours. We import bagged German Pilsner malt and manually add 3,300 pounds to each batch because we believe that’s what it takes to make a great German pilsner. We source all Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, which we prize for their mix of floral and “Noble” notes. Then we wait. This beer is unfiltered, so we rely on natural lagering techniques (i.e. long times and cold temperatures) to get this beer as bright as sunshine.

A nice, puffy Pilsner. The bitterness is actually quite long lasting and peppery/herbal. The malt character is interesting. Tasty but it didn’t blow me away.

This is a pretty decent beer. Nice and easy going down. Lighter taste but that just makes it more drinkable. Good one.

Bomber from a Safeway in Seaside, OR. Aroma is grassy, latex, sour berry jam, clean. Pours hazy straw golden with a white head with decent retention. Taste is fairly bitter backed by some light cookie dough sweetness. Nice pils.

Pours at 2.9 celcius with not very much head, modest carbonation, foggy yellow body. Stenchy hoppy lager aroma, cabbage, lemon, kind of intruiging. Flavour is lemon champagne with hints of candy sweetness. Dry finish. Odd lemon soda hints all around this which I don’t like; but I’ll still finish the bottle.

Bottle. Not one of my favourite styles but this one is really good. Pale, gold color that’s hazy. Giant long lasting head. Aroma had hints of grains, bread and slight hints of nutty hay. Taste was extremely well balanced.

We tasted 6 Pilsners tonight and they were all so different. I'll take a Pilsner over an Amber Ale or Pale Ale any day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy gold with white head. Pilsner malt with Fruity Pebbles-like sweetness. Tropical fruit presence as well. Very solid.

Bottle. A little passed its prime. Straight up pilsner. Nothing special. A little fruity. High carb and crisp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

As "Breakside Liquid Sunshine Pilsner" 22 oz.
Bottle on June 26, 2015. From Hillsdale Liqour Store in Portland, Oregon.
Clear pale straw yellow color, huge white head. Bottle keeps pouring head/foam long after opened. Light acidic, malty scent. Malty, light acidic taste. Acidic aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Could pour as slowly as possible into two glasses, still getting only a minute amount of beer in the bottom of the glass, the rest was head build-up. Bottle kept foaming over even though I poured from it as often as possible, until there were less than 25% left in the bottle.
The way the bottle behaves, mixed with the character of the beer, I’d say there is a mild infection in this bottle.
Still taste and smell decent enough.
