COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We always wanted to make a year-round German-style Pilsner. Both because it tastes great and it’s a favorite of ours. We import bagged German Pilsner malt and manually add 3,300 pounds to each batch because we believe that’s what it takes to make a great German pilsner. We source all Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, which we prize for their mix of floral and “Noble” notes. Then we wait. This beer is unfiltered, so we rely on natural lagering techniques (i.e. long times and cold temperatures) to get this beer as bright as sunshine.

Nice gold pour with a bright white head. Clean and quite tasty for the style. Lemons, grass, light notes of dried hay. Tasty.

Bottle:   Yellowish straw, thin to moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Dank grassy nose, a little musty straw/hay.   Soft dry straw/hay on the tongue.   Could stand to have a touch more sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Not terribly crisp, but it is clean.   Lingering straw and hay.   Very much middle of the road.   Wished it were a bit sharper.   Average.

651mL from Whole Foods Bend, OR. Pours a clear straw. Thick, sheets of lacing. Nose is heavier biscuit is thick marmalade, chamomile, clover honey, freshly cut grass. bright tangerine/grapefruit. Taste is dry, hoppy, grassy, thicker honey and biscuit balance. Longer grassy hop finish with thicker honey and biscuit malt to balance. Seems like a solid MrChopin and 3fourths style pilsner that gets the thumbs up from a big pilsner lover.

22oz bottleA: Pale straw, foamy white head. Rows of carbonation.N: Malt, grape, straw, grass, some hop citrus and lemon. Bready crackers. T: Quite sweet with only a hint of hop bitterness. Doesn?t hit that prime spot for me.M: Lighter bodied that?s slightly oily.O: Not a great attempt at the style, unfortunately. Might?ve been on the shelf too long.

Bomber. Pours a super clear golden color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of pils malt and some sulfur. Sweet, some biscuit, light pepper, mellow pilsner malt. Pretty clean and tasty. Listed as liquid sunshine Pilsner. Celebrated the Pirate’s first Playoff win since 92. BUCN! Amazing.

51 points on RateBeer. Ugh. Makes me angry that some people even review pilsners. This bright yellow beer with great bubbles percolating upwards is crisp and clean with a slight grain taste. I enjoyed this beer and it paired well with a ham and cheese sandwich.

Draught at Breakside Restaurant & Pub Brewery in Portland. Light grassiness, and very light fruit -- pears. Very pale straw color. Nice sweet grassy initial / balances so nicely in mid / final goes sweet again. Thin-medium body. Well done.

22oz bottle from "Trader Joe" in Salem,OR. $3.79 Pours a typical pilsener yellow, but the head is quite nice..thick and creamy . OK aromas..of grassy hop ,cereal and a little earthy. Taste is about the same as the aroma.. except the grassy hop also turns fruity. OK mouthfeel, about average for style OK summer drink but not IMO a pilsener Another of these PNW lagers masquerading as a pils. Be truthful this is a nice drinkable lager with a PNW twist
