I really enjoyed this light and highly aromatic saison. The jasmine and chrysanthemum are wonderful! The peppercorn provide a nice balance without being overly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22. Pours an absolutely crystal clear pale yellow with a few slowly rising nucleation columns. Can’t remember the last beer I saw that was this pale and clear. Fizzy white head that goes away. Nose starts off eggy, then fades to a light soft lemon and some faint white peppery notes. Creamy light body with lively carb. Soft lemon and a bit of white pepper on the mid-palate, with a mild finish. No flaws, but not a lot of power or personality here either.

I believe this is the Widmer collaboration; tap at Fiddlers.

Light pour, modest white head. Light and delicate given the abv., gently floral, mild esters, hints of pepper. This entirely enjoyable saison exceeds expectations.

Clear gold pour. Aroma of rose perfume and black pepper. Tastes yeasty with a firm bitter. Strong chrysanthemum and jasmine. Slight acidity resembles tea. Slight hot spice from pepper. Semidry finish. I like how the botanical are strong and the peppercorns offer just a hint of burn. Great proportionate flavors.

Awesome beer. On tap at the brewery in PDX. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. A huge floral nose, jasmine, peppercorn. The flavor showcases more jasmine, very lively, some bite from the peppercorn, sweet moderately dry saison base. Damn nice.
