COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dessert stout brewed with lactose caramel and fleur de sel, inspired by our friends Tyler & Kim Malek at Salt & Straw. Tyler has been working on perfecting a lactose caramel syrup that mimics the flavor in his sea salt and caramel ice cream. After a few test blends, we’re worried that this might be the most addictive dessert beer ever made.

22oz bottle pours a dark brown with a tan head. Sweet caramel, light chocolate roast, cocoa powder, and sugar for aroma. Taste is pleasant, smooth creamy body with a rich caramel finish. Drinks like a milk stout, I would have liked a little more salt but this was enjoyable.

Dark beer with brown highlights and a lasting foamy beige head. Sweet caramel nose with some dark fruit, molasses and a hint of smoke. Flavors of burnt toast, cereal grains, dark caramel and molasses. This is a sweet beer with a salty finish that may be suggested. Okay stout.

Bottle, dark brown with tan head. Heavy roasted malt on the nose, chocolate, lactose sweetness, a little caramel. Not much of the salted caramel on the palate, but a pleasant toffee character and coffee note as well. Not really as advertised, but a solid, easy-drinking stout.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured cloudy brown color with medium tan frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy chocolate milk, caramel aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration to long duration. My expectations where exceeded with a very good stout.

22oz bottle, thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Clear red - brown color. Half finger of khaki head. Decent lace. Looks more like a brown ale than a stout, though. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Light bit of creaminess on it. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter... Cool bit of salt is much appreciated and works well to balance the taste. Good chocolate, salted caramel. Toasty malt. Tasty, interesting unique stuff.

22 0z bottle from amfo shared with the group. Pours a clear brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel over top of some toasted bready malts, mild roast, chocolate, some salty notes, the flavor grew with some warming, decent for a smaller (6%) stout, good mouthfeel.

Bomber to snifter (shared by alexsdad06). Looks solid; a translucent dark mahogany with light beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of dark malt, dark chocolate, caramel, and toast. Tastes like it smells with less toast. Average on the palate. Solid beer.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate white head. Aromas of brownies, nuts, and roasted malts. Flavors of nutty brownies, burnt malts and bitter dark chocolate. Salty bitter finish. Not getting the sweet and caramel, but quite good nonetheless

Bottle:   Semi-sweet stout.   Does seem a bit salty.   Despite it saying Caramel Milk Stout, it isn’t as sweet as I was hoping it would be.   Soft stout, decent roastiness, a little dry, not as sweet as I would have thought for a Sweet Stout.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little salty on the finish, some dark chocolate and roastiness.   I was thinking this would be a really sweet caramel laden stout, but nope.   Average, and a bit more salty than others.
