Golden IPA made with five different hops. Intense grapefruit and dank notes with a crisp finish.

Clear brilliant golden with a tight foamy white head. The nose is slightly bland but has a nice pleassant earthy hop resin and a touch of lemon and pine to back it. Very smooth and quaffable flavor with a leafy floral bitter start, a touch of pine resin, simple pale ale malts to give it a nice drinkability, with enough bitterness to please without taking away from the ability to quaff generously. Not shabby, but I wanted a bit more nuance and body from a bottle logo that uses a silhouette of Oregon. The alcohol is dangerously hidden and you can seriously top off a bomber in 5 minutes.

Aroma of fruit and citrus, pours an orange color with a lasting well laced white head. Tastes of fruit and hops with a dry feel and a chalky finish.

Bottle shared by Darrell. Thank you, sir! Clear orange body with a small, fluffy, white head. A combo of citrus and pine scents. Fresh hops with moderate bitterness. Pretty straightforward for the style. Easy drinking. Pretty good.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip on 10.29.14. A: Grapefruit and tropical fruit. Hop resin is there too as well as some slight ammonia. A: 3 finger head that is retained. Hazy golden yellow body. T: Pineapple and tropical fruit dominate. Graham cracker is subtle. P: Very smooth. More watery than I was expecting. O: This tasted like Pez candy. It was a bit more muted in flavor compared to the smell. It was in the West Coast style, so it was juicy. People compare this to Fort George/Boneyard/Block 15 3-Way 2014 edition, but I didn’t think it was as good.

Golden and clear with a good pale head. Aroma is super tropical - passionfruit, mango, lychee, citrus blossom, fresh squeezed grapefruit. Light bodied, pleasant level of bitterness with some balancing fruitiness on the palate and a little citric bitterness on the finish. Taste is passionfruit, citrus peel, hints of mango and pawpaw, little grapefruit and a touch of pine.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Quite disappointing compared to the regular IPA...this has little going on in the nose and is just the usual grapefruit-resin odor. Kinda sour in the mouth too. Another swing-and-a-miss from Breakside, unfortunately, and my least favorite from them so far.

Bomber split with myself. Hazy golden pour with a white head. I haven’t had a beer like this in a long time. Hops are fruity, earthy, give off the slightest hint of cat piss. Light bodied. Delicious citrus hops, grapefruit pulp in the flavor. This is a superior IPA.

Salmoniform (1137) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - JAN 7, 2015
Poured from bottle to glass. Crystal clear straw hue with thick fizzy white head that settled. Aroma is grapefruit, resin, straw, minerals. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweet followed by a hop bitterness throughout. Overall this is a nice traditional IPA.

22 oz bottle, thanks Durwood. Pours a hazy golden with lasting white head. aroma is dank and hoppy. Aggressive and bold - quintessential west coast IPA.

Bottle. Lightly hazed gold body with a short white head. Sharp lemon and catty pee American hop aroma, green in the way of wet grass and bell pepper but also develops some more interesting and pleasant wood oil and mineral notes. Still it seems to suffer some faint off-notes of creamed corn and makeup. Medium body, semi-sweet, coarsely effervescent with medium acidity and something that comes across like sweat / butter but doesn’t speak diacetyl to me.
