dumb name for a beer .. . gold, mild head, strong lacing .. . citrus, pine needles, nectarine .. . feels good but is lighter than most .. easy going beer .. . . We don’t even know what was found Gary. Could be a gone off banana sandwich for all we know.

Pours deep gold into a snifter. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Grapefruit, scallion and resin aromas. Soft with dusty caramel and earthy resin upfront turning to pith in the lasting finish.

Tap at Draught 55. Dusty golden coloration. Nose is grapefruit and some dank pine. Tastes of grapefruit pith, resin, some caramel, herbal, soft ripe fruit. Medium bodied. Ok brew don’t get any wow factor other reviews suggest.

Bottle. Translucent yellow gold color with a big foamy off-white head that lasted forever. The aroma is quite strong and hits the nostrils as soon as the cap is pried off the bottle. On the nose I get citrus in the forefront--mostly grapefruit, and mandarin oranges--followed up by some pine resins. Very nice. For the taste I had to wait a while for the head to dissipate. By the time it did I was positively drooling. An old proverb says that, Hunger is the best sauce. Well thats true with beer too. On the taste I get more grapefruit, lemons, pine, oranges, kiwi and a bit of biscuit. The palate is medium and a bit oily. Carbonation is soft. Finished long and dry with lingering bitter grapefruit. Overall: Top shelf stuff.

Hazy orange and its calling my name. This is a trophy IPA and exactly how I want my Northwest IPAs. Tropical hops and grapefruit dominate my palate and it seals up the sip with a crisp and long lasting heavenly finish. Its slightly more bubbly than its elite ipa competitors and has more body than the Ballast Point Sculpin. In three words...They nailed it.

On tap at Crowbar, july 14th 2015. Hazy orange body with a small lasting white head. Intense grapefruit aroma with pine traces and mild hay. Great balanced bitterness , tropical taste, dry and crisp, with a fruity hop finish, zesty and fresh aftertaste. Nice!

650ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold with a large, long lasting, frothy, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Very pungent, sweaty aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, peach, orange and pine needles. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, peach, orange pith, grass and pine needles with a fresh, crisp, dry, bitter, hoppy resin finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Excellent, nicely done.

650ml brown bottle. Pours out yellow with light haze. Nice thick white head on top with messy lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruit, nice and bright. Flavours of orange, grapefruit, resin. Dry. Hoppy and quenching. Very nice.

ACHops (1265) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 23, 2016
On tap @ Breakside. Pours clear light yellowish golden with thin lacy white head. Aroma is fresh crisp hops, grassy and lightly vegetal. Taste is lightly sweet golden/pale malt, fresh vegetal hops, light pine. This tastes like a slightly de-tuned India Golden Ale from these guys. Good flavor here, the malt does disappear a bit, the IGA seems better balanced in that regard.

pour from bottle. nice golden clear color. small light head with lacing. beautfil aromas of pine resin, cut grass, some nice citrus and melon character. Wow. I love this beer after one taste. More pine resin and dryer finish then their other flagship. Very well made. Chug potential very high. I really dig this brewery
