22 oz bomber from "Lifesource" in Salem OR $4.99 This IPA does appear a lighter colour than normal..a deep golden..with what has to be the most attractive head i have seen in a proper IPA,..about an inch thick, tightly bubbled and quite uniform. Very very intense hop aromas..as said in the intro..weird combination of bright citrus peel and normal PNW dankness..but it works. Taste is similar to aroma but much more effervescent grapefruit ( pink) in the end. Lovely mouth feel..intense yet at the same time light and quaffable ( yes i used That word). Very good IPA ..loving this.

Draft pour at the Druids taproom. Pours a golden color with a super piney aroma. Smells like a Christmas tree. I’ve never tasted so much grapefruit in a beer, and that includes grapefruit beers. Really nice piney hop flavor with a really nice citrus finish. Really good IPA here. Impressed.

Draught. Pours semi cloudy amber. Good head and lacing. Smells of pine, tangerine and herbal. Taste is similar to smell, more emphasis on the herbal notes. Nice citrusy hops. Good American IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to the special lady for hauling this back from Portland! Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Dry pithy grapefruit on the nose with side notes of pine needles. Light to medium sweet flavor with nice dry and pithy citrus, bitter grass and pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes pleasantly dry with light mineral cleanliness, more grass, more pithy citrus, especially grapefruit. Good one. Solid straight-ahead IPA.

Bottle, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko thanks to LKS, 19/08/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is citric sherbets, pine, straw, orange pith, grapefruit. Taste comprises pine, citric zest, grapefruit, bitter orange, pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Bottle at the Satellite 10k tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is toasty, pine, passion fruit, tangerine, sherbet and some herbal/grassy action. The taste is pretty bitter, grassy, herbal, earthy, peppery, orange peel and grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a fan of the bitter herbal element to it. So-so.

Bottle share at the satellite 10k tasting at the craft clerko. Aroma is citrus and nelson sauvin hop, grassy. Clear golden colour with a lasting thin white head. Flavour is very bitter, burnt clutchplate, Nelson sauvin hop. Palate is very dry and chalky carbonation. Like a hop tea. Bitterness is harsh.

As of late I can not find the time to take tasting notes of each beer I sample. I would like to track and record my thoughts of each so I will just use the simple scoring rubric until more time is available.

Shots of intense pear and bitter grapefruit are apparent in this very light auburn beer. The head is off-white and very frothy and almost completely disappeared in a matter of minutes! Definitely leaves some lacing on the glass, forming layers as I take each swallow. Light malts and fruity hops are balanced nicely, with the bitter just a little edgy and the hops fruity aroma filling around those edges and smoothing it all over. The medium body is slightly sticky and finishes a little bitter, but with a sweet afterward that I am enjoying quite a bit. Will definitely look for this again. Thank you to my good friend Jennifer who decided to add this one to the list as a pleasant surprise!

22 oz bottle, couldn’t find a date on the bottle but the price sticker from the store said it was brought in this month- Pours hazy golden with a three finger white head that reduces. Aroma is very tropical, spicy hops, light sweet malt, nice aroma. The taste is more hop forward, pungent almost dank hops, tropical fruits are there, but the strong piney hops dominate, peppery, hay or grass and somewhat grainy in a good way. Really top notch beer from what i am starting to believe is a top notch brewery! Very glad they are in this area now.
