22 oz bomber from "Lifesource" in Salem OR $4.99 This IPA does appear a lighter colour than normal..a deep golden..with what has to be the most attractive head i have seen in a proper IPA,..about an inch thick, tightly bubbled and quite uniform. Very very intense hop aromas..as said in the intro..weird combination of bright citrus peel and normal PNW dankness..but it works. Taste is similar to aroma but much more effervescent grapefruit ( pink) in the end. Lovely mouth feel..intense yet at the same time light and quaffable ( yes i used That word). Very good IPA ..loving this.

On tap at Imazato. Wanderlust IPA 6.7% As I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust this beer is seriously apropos. A clear copper with a filmy head it’s got an inviting fruity hop bouquet featuring prickly pear and tropical fruits. Medium bodied with a very spritzy mouthfeel. The taste is candyish tropical fruits and sweet maltiness. Solid but the aroma surpasses the taste by a significant margin.

Bottle next to the fire. Pours clear golden with white wispy head. Nose is super fruity grapefruit and dankness, some cracker malts. Citrus juicy hop bitterness and subtle biscuit malt honey sweetness. Great balance and drinkability. Solid ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wonderful solid sponge-life head and a great yellow-gold body with very minor carbonation. Hops aroma - well, you know those sweet craft beer hops, not the rotting stink macro hops; nonetheless they are not too complex nor are they above and beyond any other craft IPA I can recall. The flavour is nice oily hops, refreshing and direct to the point. Nice dry finish. This is a well done IPA, nothing more, nothing less - not world class, a good standby if you’re in the region. And so it goes.

Flight pour on tap at the brewery taproom (Milwaukie, OR). Pours a nice deeper orange amber hue, a healthy glow, subtle hop haze and fuller frothy whitish head atop stays firm, a sizable layer sticks around and laces well enough. Aromas present fruity citric and tropical appeal, some earth, florals and mellow sweetness. A bit of spiciness, firmer fresher hops with earth, gentle caramel and bready sweetness. Initial is bitter, fruity, firm tropical appeal with nice fresh mango and tropical life. Some middling to firm bitterness supports. Soapy, citric and dry with bubblegum and juicy fruit jabs. A potent hoppy melange of flavors with firm to potent tropical melange, earth and fruit. No real body but a well lingering and potent fruity appeal. Honeydew, melonn and mango meet bubblegum, florals, some dry earthy bitterness. Fresh and fruity, smaller body than the nose let on makes this appealing. Backend is dry, fruity, a bit soapy and bitter with some nice florals, lingering tropical nectar. Nice stuff, fresh and fruity and rich. Flavorful, enough bitterness, light enough body. Good dang stuff.

1/2 pint draft at the brewpub in Portland, Oregon. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper with a small white head. The aroma is fresh tropical fruit, and a big shot of dank resin. The taste is big round fresh tropical mango fruit hop transitioning to the dank resin, almost BO level dank. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a dry softly bitter dank resin finish. Nice expression.
