4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bomber from "Lifesource" in Salem OR
This IPA does appear a lighter colour than normal..a deep golden..with what has to be the most attractive head i have seen in a proper IPA,..about an inch thick, tightly bubbled and quite uniform.
Very very intense hop aromas..as said in the intro..weird combination of bright citrus peel and normal PNW dankness..but it works.
Taste is similar to aroma but much more effervescent grapefruit ( pink) in the end.
Lovely mouth feel..intense yet at the same time light and quaffable ( yes i used That word).
Very good IPA ..loving this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Found this gem in Haleiwa on the North Shore today. Hops, hops & more hops! Fantastic ....crushed green pine cones, Yuzu peel, even a road kill skunk, layer upon layer of hop goodness! Bright golden colored with a short-lived eggshell white head fading to a thin layer of fine bubbles. As with the scent, layers of hops, bitter & flavorful, a hint of sweet malt tries to peek out but is overwhelmed with resinous hops. A nice treat for this hophead!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Typical high quality and high caliber NW IPA, pungent aroma, big piney hops rule the taste, slightly astringent finish. Really tasty stuff, good looking pour with tons of sticky lacing.

22 oz bottle shared and poured into a pint glass, purchased at Supermarket Liquors. Juicy hop aroma with notes of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Similar flavor, fresh, zesty and easy to drink. Pretty dank overall.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2015 Wonderful tropical fruit aroma in a light gold pour. Brilliantly balanced with light hop forward start and perfectly sorted sweetness in the body. Finish is crisp and clean and leaves one wanting another (and another). Would love to try from tap - but suspect I’d rate it higher. * Managed to do just that - and definitely do!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Dick’s Kitchen in Portland. Pint glass. Aroma filled with citrus vibes...an assertive IPA. Almost a full finger of head. Really good lacing. Golden orange leaning more towards the golden side. Taste is run of the mill IPA with a large bouquet of citrus and pine notes. Some decent sweetness in the middle and end. Feels like a really solid IPA without pushing the envelope. I’ll give it a solid recommendation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: hazy pale gold with a fat finger of rocky ivory head, good retention and lacing. (4/5) Aroma: pine, pithy citrus, pale malt, mild catty, light herbal. (8/10) Taste: mild to moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium slightly oily body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (4/5)
Interesting doing this one side by side with their Session IPA. There’s a strong family relationship, but I think I slightly prefer this one. Not that it’s necessarily better, as such, just different. A little heavier in the body, with more pronounced flavours, and what might be Citra coming through with just a hint of cattiness that’s not present in the ISA - but not in a negative way. (16/20)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
red gold pour. Aroma cabbage, cat piss, pine. Tastes melons, cat piss, pine, juniper. waterly light palate lets hops take over. seems more bitter than 50ibu since malts are so subdued.
I didn’t like this the first time I tasted it, but in a blind tasting, I liked it a lot. I averaged my scores for this.
