A new addition to our full-time lineup, this second IPA showcases four pungent American hops that we don’t use in our regular IPA: Newport, Amarillo, Cascade, and Chinook. It is slightly darker, more full bodied and less bitter than our flagship beer, and at under 6% ABV, it’s a hoppy beer that you can drink all day long.

Rating #1973 2015.09.26 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 3, Beer 74 Golden pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit notes, mild grassiness, mild floral, piney scent.Taste is a blast of grapefruity hop character whose bitterness evolves to define this beer, a bold bitterness following a crisp, floral, resinous, citrusy sweetness. Nice.

Tap at the brewery in Aug 2014 with Erica, Matt, others. Amber pour with fluffy head. Medium hop bitterness. Nothing crazy about it, maybe would have liked more citrus or fruit notes to brighten it up but it was good.

"Session iPa, pale ale, what’s the difference? Lower ibu and abv, with a flavor profile seemingly closer to an apa. Balanced, floral but not too hoppy. Quality and refreshing if a little ho hum."

Draft at sandovals in the Portland airport. A little goodbye gift finding this guy. Orange with white head. Not like a pale ale. More IPA to me. Smells like hoppy fruity heaven. Taste is floral and grapefruit heaven. Big fan

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with small compact head. Nice citrusy aroma, delicate and persistent. Dry and lean mouthfeel, some bready malt flavor, but most of all an explosion of C-hops, with mild animal character in the final.
Fairly good offer.

Draft at Indigo. A nice, clean, and light APA. Pours a very slightly hazy burnished medium amber with a loose white head that sticks around. Bright fruity sweet nose, showing grapefruit and tangerine. Creamy body a little on the light side of medium, with lively carb. Toasty caramel with grapefruit and tangerine on the mid palate, with a long crisp dry finish. Beautifully executed.
