Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a small white head that leaves specks of lace. Smells of biscuity malts with some earthy, citrusy hops. Tastes nicely balanced between the cereal malts and some pretty good, bitter, earthy hops. Earthiness lingers. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.

Clear amber color/ beige head. Strong pine, floral hop aromas. medium body. Good hoppy pine sap, floral flavors on a sweet caramel base. good pale.

On tap at Breakwater. Served in a taster glass by the beautiful Christina. OK, well it’s a bummer Maverick’s 2X IPA wasn’t on tap, but all of Kirk’s beers are great and his IPAs awesome. Pale yellow/amber color. Lots of citrus/grassy bitterness, and lots of wonderful hoppy aroma. Pretty easy to drink, once your palate becomes more immune to the hops. Good.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet citrus how aroma and taste with a crisp slightly sticky palate.

On tap @ Breakwater Brewing Co. Clear dark golden with a small off-white head, fading to a thin ring. Aroma of citrus rinds and biscuity malts. The biscuits come through more in the flavor, though still not too sweet. Bitterness peaks at a 3. Light to medium body with moderate smooth carbonation. Not too bad--very generic, actually--but sorely lacking from their IPA/DIPA offerings.
