Pours murky red brown with a thin offwhite head that leaves specks of lace. Smells fruity overall, hops and a nice, sweet malt presence to balance it out. Tastes complex sweet and fruity hoppy with lots of caramel malts. Hint of dishtowel through the middle with a lingering, whisley barrel aftertaste. Interesting. Full body, good carbonation.

A: The pour is amber in color with a small off-white head. S: Smells rather hoppy. Citrus, grass, and herbs are all there. There’s a touch of oak in there and a fair amount of sweet malts. Toffee and brown sugar seem to be there as well as a light fruitiness. T: Bready malts, light fruits, and some sugar give this one a decent amount of sweetness. Charred oak and vanilla are there and the hop flavors are also present--grass and straw for the most part. M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: Not awful, but really unimpressive and underwhelming in all aspects.

Oakquinox. Cloudy orange, white head. Nose is light fruits and malts. Flavor is rich bready malts, vanilla and oak tones prominent, finishes smooth with minimal warmth. Medium body and carbonation. A flavorful and oaky beer that is easy drinking with light fruit accents.

On tap at Stone. Pours with a clear brown to bronze body and an off-white head. Aromas are malty with a ton of esters, pear, caramel, alcohol and toffee. Flavors are bitter, with caramel and a lot of alcohol. Estery and some vanilla. Medium to high carbonation. Carmel and booze.

Dark copper brown with a creamy white head. Malty caramel and molasses aroma and taste with a big oak and vanilla presence and a smooth palate.

Reddish amber pour, thin off-white head. Caramel malt, fruit, bitter hops, and slightly floral. Some biscuits come through as it warms. Nothing wrong with it, but it is forgettable.
