Draft. A brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is dominated by roasted malt, but also with light notes of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and bread, leading to a dry, roasted, cocoa finish.

I found this to be just straight char flavor. Really smoky - campfire - burnt toast. Creamy black body to go along.

On tap. Pours a very dark brown - close to black - with a vague orangey hue and a creamy, beige lacing head. Hard roasted malts and coffee in the nose. Surprisingly thin-bodied, hard roasted malts and again coffee. Lightly bitter malt finish. 080709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small, tan and creamy dense head. Roasted and malty aroma. Roasted malt and light chocolate like malt flavoured. Mild acidic roasted touch yetvery smooth. Lasting smooth roasted malt impression.

On tap at the brewery. Brown pour, froth nitro head. Roasted malt, chocolate, and oats. Creamy mouthfeel. Decent porter, nothing special though.

Nitro. Dark brown in color with a creamy tan head. Aroma was pretty mellow, but some light roeasted oats and cocoa. Flavor was a bit dry stout like. Solid mouthfeel. Overall it was an ok beer.

I entered this beer, so feel free to correct the style. The ABV and description is from the menu. On tap at the brewery. 6 sampler platter. In order from best to worst: I liked North Jetty IPA, Signature Pale Ale, Hill Street Honey, Hibiscos Hefe, Point Break Porter, Switch Stance Strong Ale. Nice chocolatey roasty bitternes. A bit mellow, partly because the nitrogen dulls the aroma a bit. Dark Brown color. Huge lasting fluffy nitro head.
