Ungstrup (29208) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2010
Draft. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has thick notes of hops lending it notes of citrus fruits and spices. The flavor is sweet with a thick malt profile. Nice that it is so pale and yet with such a strong body. The alcohol tickles the tongue and warms in the throat.

On tap. Slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Very malty nose with a whiff of yeast. Quite full-bodied, lots of malt, fruit and some yeast. Somewhat astringent and alcoholic finish. 080709

nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - JUN 8, 2009
Pour from the tap in a small 10 oz. glass. Golden in color with a small white head. Smells of sweet citrus and some bitter hops. Medium plus body with some honey like qualities and good strong bitterness. Alcohol present but not over powering. Easy to drink. Finish is a bit on the sweeter side. Very tasty.

Sampler at Breakwater. Pours golden, thick white head, with lasting head. Aroma, piney hops Taste, superbly hoppy, pine, light fruits, with light bitter finish and a tad spices. Love the use of hops in DIPA and the hops are there but just ruining the whole palate. @ 9.4% this was easy to drink and amazingly tasty.

steview (1019) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 24, 2009
UPDATED: APR 25, 2009 definitely not what I would expect for an Imperial version of a Pale: cloudy gold-yellow body with average white head and little lacing; lots of floral, sweeter than expected, yeasty, ... the hops are really hiding in this one or really not there, along with the alcohol, but the alcohol is definitely there; good, but not great--maybe if it was re-branded into something else or at least more hop-centric?

New beer on tap at the brewpub served in a short pint glass (10ozish). Yellow color. Yeasty aroma. Low hop bitterness. Reasonably easy to drink.
