Very little head, soft golden colour. Aroma of sour apples, lemon, very soft sour caramel. Taste is soft apples with a wet finish. Refreshing.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2007 75 cl bottle at a restaurant in Ryes, Normandie, France. Deep yellow, a touch of green, hazy. Soft apple fruitiness, with yeasty and woody notes. Medium bodied with nice sparkling feeling. Very good balance, with a light sweetness, a firm acidity, and a discrete apple peel bitterness. A great cider.

A cloudy, bottle-fermented vintage (this one 2001) cider. Lots of dregs. From a small artisanal producer near Honfleur in Normandie, who also makes calvados, pommeau and other apple related products. The cider is deliciously fruity, juicy and crisp, with spicy undertones. A good balance between the classy and the rustic. One of my favourite Norman ciders. Bottled (750ml)
