COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Extra, extra? You better believe it. We like to say it’s double extra special. The balance of malt and hops makes it truly one-of-a-kind. Warming malt notes at the onset with a hop kick in the back and opens up to a nice dry finish. Our small batch ESB is a big, strong traditional ale with characteristics that break tradition and a complexity that constantly surprises.

Nice rich copper-brown color with white head. Roasty-malty aroma. A nice rounded malty ESB with more of those roasted, chewable notes that make it unlike your average, bland ESB.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is nutty with caramel and dough notes, as well as a slightly medicinal funk. The beer is dark and oily looking with a caramel colored hue, and a generous fluffy, off white head that has decent retention and lace. The taste is a medium, malty sweet and medium light bitter that strengthens to medium near the end of the drink. The beer is fairly thick and syrupy with a light, fizzy carbonation and a medium full roated body flavored with bread and figs / raisins and a bit of a bitter wax note. The finish has a spicy zip leading to an aftertaste that’s waxy and cloying with flavors of fig and warmed caramel with a hint of wax.

Malty, nutty, hints of caramel and chocolate. The hops are quite understated. Seems off for the style, but not bad overall.

Caramel, roasted malts and hints of nuts make up the nose. A translucent dark mahogany pour with a rapidly diminishing off- white head and moderate lacing. The taste is malt forward and mildly bitter. Enjoyable. Caramel, roasted malts culminating in a hoppy bitter finish and aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, nice balance between malts up front and hops in the finish. Would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber color with an off white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, roasted nuts, light hops. Well balanced flavor. Creamy body and soft on the palate. Nice ESB.

Pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma and Taste is sweet toasted caramel malt, a bit of chocolate notes with some molasses with a mild bitter ending. A medium body, moderate carbonation. Overall nothing really outstanding but still a solid brew.

Very traditional ESB. Lots of malt, smooth, mild hoppings, hiding quite a powerful punch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Patrick, Thanks Pat. Beer is kind of meh, not memorable in any way... surprised by the ABV but nothing here to really wow me. just a malty beverage

(Bottle). Dark brown in complexion with this white head. The flavor is malty with subtle sweetness, classic to the style. Adds a bit to a session style ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep caramel pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, slight breadiness. Flavor is sweet but not cloying, slightly bitter, lightly hippy but good. Nice flavorful clean beer. Tasty.
