Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

12 oz. bottle. Pour is a vibrant orangish gold, hazy with a finger of off-white head, which dissipates to a a tight lacy ring. Aroma is huge citrus with ripe orange, pineapple and grapefruit. Nice earthy hops in give nose as well. Flavor is sweet with ripe tropical fruits and a spicy, sneaky bitterness which comes after a few seconds. This is definitely a floral DIPA but has a nice earthy bitterness to balance out the sweet citrus. Nice dryness in between sips, just a trace if bitterness and sweetness lingers to make you want the next sip. Pretty good stuff.

Light amber with long lasting frothy white head. Rich resinous aroma. Taste- rich malt and ample piney, resinous hops. Caramel, dark fruit malt notes. A decent 2IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My favorite. Best store bought beer I’ve found. Could use a cleaner finish,

Bottle - copper color with medium head. Aroma - not typical IIPA. Hops are mild and not impressive. Taste - something is off. Leaves spent stale grain taste on tongue and bitterness is minimal. Palate - medium body with lemony aftertaste. Overall - I love this style and this is below average for me. Missing exotic flavors that I expect from a double.

Had on draft at the brewery. Tons of resinous hops character, grassy, citrus, citrus rind. The malt notes are caramely and bready.

12 oz bottle rated from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus and light resiny hops, a big caramel maltiness along with some toffee, light alcohol and some earthy and herbal hop bitterness. The bitterness is mild to moderate, and seems to be influenced by the sweetness of the beer. The alcohol is actually pretty well hidden considering the hefty content. Smooth mouthfeel, medium to medium full body. Drinks like an IPA as I like my DIPAs to have more bitterness
