12 oz bottle. Looks and smells like a double IPA. Good flavor, but hop profile is the lingering lemon grass, which I am not a big fan of. Solid, but not my favorite DIPA.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BustyMcJugson (36) - - FEB 20, 2012
this IPA has a very distinct flavor unlike any I’ve sampled before. Malty, woodsy. Not the best, but worth a taste.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 fiveacestx (161) - Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2012
Bottle - deep gold with a dissipating head and lacing. The aroma is the typical floral citrus but has another aroma that I can’t quite figure out. Has a rich, oily mouthfeel and a nice bitter finish. I bought this as a single but will definitely be back for at least a 4-pack. Excellent.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 smag4life (36) - Portsmouth, Virginia, USA - FEB 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours cloudy brownish orange. Head was off white and thick, but dissipated after a minute or two. Still there, just right on the surface, no higher. Aroma is very hoppy and fruity. The distinct aroma of grapefruit is very apparent. Medium body with very strong hop bitterness. Hop flavor is definitely there along with the grapefruit from the aroma. In fact, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say they brewed this with grapefruit. This is one of the best DIPAs I’ve had. Not over the top hoppy and the grapefruit character seals the deal for me.

Sampled in a bomber. A big IPA with a great amount of hops. Pours with big head on it and lots of carbonation. Great brew.

This is one of my favorite IPA’s. It is a high alcohol beer, but it manages to stay bitter and not sweet. I have never had it on tap, but bottle to pint glass never disappoints me. Try it!
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 shamsway (13) - - JAN 31, 2012
Bottle to pint glass. Pours hazy golden with modest white head. Major hop aroma with a hint of citrus. Flavor follows the nose, very hoppy, bit of alcohol with a bitter hoppy aftertaste (in a good way). Medium body, balanced carbonation. Nice lacing left on glass.

Draft. Pours hazy copper with thin white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is biscuit malt, spice, with floral and citrus hops. Flavor is slight malt then dominated by floral and citrus hops/bitterness; light fruit esters and some pine notes. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

12 oz bottle. For an iipa, I was a bit disappointed in the aroma, definitely lacking that citrus hoppy smell. Something very strange about it. However, the flavor is much better. Nicely balanced sweetness with bitterness. I wished for a bigger hop bite in the finish. I was definitely surprised to see the 9.2% abv, it is well hidden. Overall, not too bad.

What ever, I get sick of big ratings for big beer. Most of these people are so shallow and transparent. YEAH, It’s a high alcohol, that don’t make it better.
It has all the typical features of an IPA but the aroma and flavor is carrying an odd chemical note that I can’t put my finger on? Also the bitter after taste is a bit raunchy and lingers. Not the bad raunchy like spoiled just not pleasing.
