5 oz taster - citrus and hop overload, juniper, evergreen/pine needles and citrus on nose, mostly citrus - orange peel. Super bitter, sweetness underneath, aromas after almost directly as flavors. Short/medium finish. Pours a rich amber gold, light head, med lacing

6/27/13. Leftovers from J's stash at Sal and Christina's wedding. An interesting DIPA, smoky and malty. Odd hop blend, swear I got some notes of sauerkraut in the aroma, turns out to be quite citrusy.

Draft at Proof. Amber pour with a white head. Sweet caramel malt and some toast with citrus and piney hops. Sweet caramel flavor with a bitter citrus and pine end. Hints of warming booze through the back end. Not too shabby.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of strong tropical hops and nice caramel malt back. Taste follows, awesome balance with a great bittersweet finish. Creamy mouth, one nice IPA.

Great citrus aroma... hazy amber... from the aroma I though I was going to get more flavor... just a little mild on the taste... but not bad overall

Does not taste as strong as the ABV. There is some sweetness before the bitter.

Bottle from Bine and Vine: Lively fragrance of hops utilized nicely in the aroma of this beer which develops some spicy hop notes and ignites my appetite to taste this. Color was a shiny brass hue with a small yet expected formation of foam head. The drink carries through with a soft refined carbonation that is easy on the palate and earns high points with my palate. Flavor is more bitter than anything else but is dominated by bright earthy hops and rightfully so. First beer I’ve had by Breckenridge and a good lasting first impression was left behind by this company that suggests potential with their other releases.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Outstanding appearance - great painted, embossed 12 oz bottle. Light bronze colored beer. Don’t think I’ve given a ’5’ for appearance to a small longneck before. Fresh APA aroma, with some fermented fruit and sticky malt. Rich flavor - not your usual AIPA. The multi-hop, multi-malt complexity really comes through. Warming. Stewed peach flavors, pleasantly bittered without the dry hop greenness. Very faint diacetyl. Slightly heavy mouthfeel. Slow burn finish with sturdy hop aftertaste. Surprisingly good. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Old rate. This one was a let-down sort of. So much malt in it that it coveres the hops but hte hops are there making it not terrible.
