s_creigh (201), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 22, 2007 Pours a very clear copper color. No head at all. Aroma is nothing but sweet smelling. Taste is like sweet Belgian with only a hint of hop bitterness. I get no hop flavor or aroma at all. Their marketing hype makes you thiink this thing is a hop bomb. It’s horrible. A double imperial???? SN Pale Ale is more hoppy than this thing.
hubcrawler (7), , Alabama, USA does not count Oct 3, 2008 This is just a good, solid beer. Pours a nice clear copper color with a two-finger head. Picked up a nice amount of hops mixed with pine. Flavors of orange citrus and a nice hoppy finish with medium carbonation. This beer is not earth-shattering but its quality lies in its being so well balanced. Extremely drinkable and can hardly notice the 9.2% ABV. Definitely getting this again. bigtaster (116), Grand Rapids, USA Sep 30, 2008 12 oz bottle. Nice orange yellow color. Good body, nice bitterness. Darn good IPA. Collint (347), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle, pours an orange beer with a big off white head. aroma is hoppy citrus and pine. flavor is strong citrus, fruit, pine and hops. Pours a hazy mango color, with a fizzy white head, wet lacing. Aromas of dried fruits, caramel, smooth hops. Flavor is caramel, some banana, big on hops. Crisp, smooth, and this one feels slightly aged. Still decent to drink though. MaltOMeal (315), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Sep 27, 2008 12oz bottle.
