Currently my favorite beer if I’m going to have more than one. Delicious and perfect in all ways I know.

Pours a big off white head, and it smells great. Nice dark orange in color, smells of citrus! If you’ve ever taken a bite of an orange ,or grape fruit this is very similar. Nice long hoppy flavor with a finish that lasts forever. This is a big people drink!

Quite possibly, the perfect IPA--or even just the perfect beer!

Pours syrupy amber with a medium off white head that laces well. Nose is strong floral and grapefruit hops. Flavor has initial sweet malty notes that trend later towards nicely bitter, mostly citrus hops. Finish is pine hops and nicely alcoholic. Very good,Awsome!

Grrrrrrrrrrreat! Grapefruity goodness that packs a 9.2% punch that is so well disguised you will have a stupid-fun time letting it pummel you for a few rounds of pints.

Loved this IPA, very rich taste with a thick white head. Can, unfortunately, no longer find in Texas.

Pours with a nice frothy head and orange amber color. VERY strong aroma with citrus and fruity smell. The taste starts slow but comes on very quick with a hoppy taste in the middle. Finishes with a twinge of alcohol but not so much that it kills the overall experience. To put it bluntly...if you like hops you’ll like this beer. Definitely a hopheads beer.

Review #1600!! And I could not have asked for a better one! This double IPA really hit the mark for me! This beer had it all! It started with an inviting pour of a light amber color with a rich and generous off-white head. The head left a beautiful and attractive lace around the glass. The nose was bold, with a good amount of spiciness, citrus, bread, hop resin and pine. The flavors were dangerously delicious, with notes of bitter, spicy and floral hops. They were balanced nicely with a sweet, bready and earthy malt. The 471 finished strong, with an intense bitterness, lots of dry and spicy citrus flavors and a fair amount of woodiness. This was a fantastic beer to celebrate another milestone with!

Bottle from Capone’s. Hazy dark straw pour with 2-finger creamy white head. Aroma of big caramel malt, with heavy tropical and citrus fruit, including mango, tangerine, honeydew, heavy hops, and a lot of cracked black pepper. The flavor is rich caramel malt with the variety of tropical fruits, mango in front and tangeriny melon toward the back, plus a uniform spreading of black pepper throughout. The mouthfeel is complex, well balanced, and velvety. This beer is the younger brother of Dreadnaught, and I’d bet they have about 80% homology between them.
