Pours golden amber with few bubbles and a sudsy/creamy off-white head. Lovely citrus hop aroma, smells kind of salty and a bit of pine. Ha... that is an interesting flavor. Soapy bitterness with some caramel malts at first. Not a lot of carbonation..kinda flat and dull in the mouth. This is hop juice regardless of what Two Brothers thinks. Modest amount of grapefruit, pineapple and caramel malts.... pretty sweet and sugary. Pretty dry finish, although the alcohol is kinda nasty. Maybe mine isn’t fresh... the hops don’t perk my cheeks at all =p. Good beer... just a few minor flaws.

Jul 18, 2008 Smells strongly of sour grapefruit hops with musty alcohol notes. Taste is strong sour citrus hops with slight alcohol bite. Hides the alcohol well. Very tasty IIPA

Jul 16, 2008 Pours a hazy orange ruby with a thin, soapy head. Odor of light fruits, prune, and some syrupy malts. Lots of bitter hops in the flavor, which I like. Not much of a malt taste to it, just bitter hops from the beginning to the aftertaste. Just what I want from my DIPAs.

Jul 11, 2008 (On tap at Flying Saucer in Austin on July 11, 2008 with Jen) Orange-amber color with steady carbonation and a frothy white head and awesome lacing. Aroma is sweet, floral, and spicy. Flavor bitter and yet sweet… I think Breckenridge was trying to make this an enjoyable drink for non-hop heads. Syrupy. It’s bitter, coats the tongue, but then... the sweetness subdues any painful aftertaste. Without the sweetness it would have been fine, in my opinion, but it would help with any hop aftershock and it does give this beer character. Delicious, really...

Jul 5, 2008 Big nose, lovely floral overtones, great bitternes, fine balance, great finish. The hopping was very well done.
