Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

Was over at my buddies when I had this and the only glassware he had was a small weizen glass. Color is an orange copper. Pours a thick tan head that is very complex. Leaves some really nice lacing. Smell is of carmel malts with earthy/pine hops. Taste is obviously hoppy. Floral pine notes and hints of carmel. I really couldn’t even tell that this was 9.2% abv. Mouthfeel is awesome. It starts out very smooth and then gets just slightly bitter. Finally, when it goes down, it is very creamy with a slight hint of bitterness. Very well carbonated. Overall, this is one tasty double. At 9.2%, this thing is very easy to drink. This is a well balanced IPA and it is not extremely bitter, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend. Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Smyrna, GA. The appearance is a nice orange color with a large white head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is a great hop/alcohol DIPA mix.

Really hoppy. Has a nice aroma but is a little intense. Still real tasty and worth trying.

It pours a golden orange that is actually more on the orange side. There is an off white moderate head that does produce a fair amount of lacing. It has aromas of Grapefruit and apricot with bread and caramel in the background. There is also a hint of spruce. IT is very sweet up front and bitters while in the mouth. There are grapefruit and apricot flavors with bread and caramel. It has a moderate feel with a moderately bitter finish that is fairly long lasting. Overall it is moderately bitter with strong fruit flavors and moderately malts on the low side.

Enjoyed on tap at Ale House in Grand Junction, CO. I didn't take tasting notes, but remember this being a pretty strong high ABV imperial IPA with lots of citrus. Overall pretty good, would have again.

Pours a golden amber color with big fizzy head. Aromas of fruit and citrus peel and some piney notes. Flavors of tropical fruits and some piney hops.

Amber thin rimming beige head; dank skunk hop aroma ; flava is floral spicy hop with caramel and fruit sweetness; feels medium to thick with foamy fizzy zing; finishes bitter with sweet notes balanced with spice floral hop

Great smell of dank resinous hops, earth, grass and a good amount of honey sweetness. See through dark orange color with a bright white tuft of foam. The taste is honey like up front but contains a hop bite afterwards that lasts well into the aftertaste. The deScription belied a hop bomb, but the real taste is way more balanced. Crushable at 9.2%, not a hint of alcohol. Comparable to Stone RuinTen, not quite as good but tastes similar. Smooth palate, overall very good from Breckenridge, a brewery that has always been hit and miss with me and one that I was definitely skeptical of since they had been bought out by InBev.

Sampled from a bottle at the Soho bar in San Antonio, Texas. Copper colour with a whitish head. Extremely hoppy! Lime, mandarin, grapefruit and resin all present. Some sweet maltiness with hints of caramel also, along with an earthiness and some spices. Long finish. A stupendous double IPA.

Draft. Orange with thin white head. Medium body. Slightly sweet, very hoppy. Ok. Not my favorite DIPA.
