Mmm, chocolate. Deep dark chocolate pour with a thin mocha head that leaves a pretty ring of lacing. The aroma is robust in milk chocolate. The taste is semi-sweet and full of chocolate notes. I love the creamy and light mouthfeel. The 7.2% is hidden quite well which makes this easy to drink. Very, very good!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Roasted and chocolate malt aromas, but very faint.
Appearance: Black with minimum tan head that dissipated quickly.
Taste: Medium sweetness all the way through.
Palate: Medium body, slick creamy texture, soft carbonation, soft finish.
Overall: First off, pricey as hell. I realize itís a rarity this side of the Mississippi, but still. It was a smooth and creamy beer with hints of chocolate and coffee. Very solid, well developed, but not mind blowing.

Bottle. Poured a nice dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma was roated malt and chocolate. Flavor followed with a little vanilla and sweetness. This one was pretty good, but not sure itís worth $3+/bottle.

Of all the breweries i come across, breckenridge excites me the least, such unimaginatively made beers .. . pours out a slightly murky tan .. . mild mouth feel .. . old cocoa powder and dried out soil .. . quite the boring beer, has nothing to it .. . . Terri Schaivoís favorite comedian is Carrot Top. #veggiechat

bottle. struggles to form a head. It is a thik, inky black with a frothy tan head that leaves good lacing. Smell is metallic, tangy, chocolaty, bread, slight roasted malt. Flavor is sweet and chocolatey, slightly metallic. Smooth but htin mouthfeel. It is decent.

Dense black under a lovely espresso hued head that is an easy finger thick which fades into a thin collar with no remaining head. Swirls with a few spots but no more fluff in the middle.
Vanilla, cream, and fudge. Burnt and tarry in the back. Fudge and cocoa. Melted chocolate. Rich and rustic. Vanilla bean mingles with toasted marshmallow.
Creamy milk chocolate. Vanilla and cream. Chocolate leads from the front into the middle. Gently bitter finish with more dark chocolate esters. Chocolate graham crackers in my breath. A little bit of tartness and sweetness in the back reveals itself as chocolate covered raisins and chocolate covered cherries Ė fresh, not canned or store bought. Cream is the wonderful glue that holds everything together. Deliciously sessionable. Toasted marshmallow in the middle.
A lovely delicious creamy chocolaty roasty stout from the fine folks at Breckenridge Brewery. I havenít had a bad beer from them yet and I doubt I ever will. This particular offering is a limited seasonal so get it while you can because itíll be a long thirsty wait for its next release.

The aroma is cocoa powder, little else. The appearance is deep black, light tan head. The flavor is cocoa powder, brown sugar, molasses. The finish is chocolate, sweet, roasty. Medium/thick in body. Good. Just a bit too much chocolate.

Surprisingly good chocolate beer from FlandersNed in Warren. He added this one in July 2012 and I received in December. Really nice chocolate pudding flavour, that went well with my chocolate brunch. Dark chocolate bodied with a nice head. Very drinkable. One of the better ones I have had from them.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a finger of light brown head, settles quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is chocolatey, roasted malt, dark malt, sweet, roasted oatmeal, moderate alcohol. Flavor is dark malt, chocolate, sweet (lactose), slightly nutty, with a mild to moderate alcohol finish. Mellow chocolate and sweet throughout. Alcohol could be better masked, isnít that high of ABV but manages to come across a little boozy. But I might have drank it a little warm for a sweet stout. Soft carbonation, medium body, smooth texture, and a mildly warming finish.
