4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Comes out of the bottle a deep, warm sable with a thick and frothy tan head. Aroma has a strong overtone of sweet chocolate plus notes of licorice and molasses and a hint of quality roast coffee. Flavor has firm chocolate, licorice and molasses notes plus undertones of caramel and coffee, and is rather sweet but not too sweet for a beer. Firm, smooth body has a good amount of fizz. Worth a drive to the package store!

Bottle - Vigorous pour into a snifter. Jet black with a cola brown head. Has a coffee and cream aroma, a nice chocolate mocha taste, a malty creamy backbone and a smooth creamy finish. Very nice.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Super-dark black with a reddish tinge if you hold it to the light. Nice, thick pillow of tan foam. The aroma isn’t all that evocative, but the flavor on the drink is packed with milk chocolate and cream, full-bodied and sweet. Nice night cap on a rainy night, a few raspberries in accompaniment would be nicer. (#4582, 5/3/2012)

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very dark brown, with a light chocolate milk head. Aroma is lightly chocolate with something I can only describe as a fresh sea breeze. Taste is super rich and chocolatey. Like creamy chocolate milk with Hersheys chocolate syrup. Very faint bitterness at the end, so the sweetness does not dominate. Would go great with a dessert. Or as dessert. Not very complex, but hits the chocolatey spot.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a dark pitch black. Nose is chocolate and malty but not overwhelmingly so. Taste is full of flavor, sweet but not frightfully so with
notes of chocolate and figs. Finish is also sweet, dry and short. All in all nice sweet stout with the alcohol well hidden. Dessert in a bottle. Quaff Score 8 / 10 ( Not for hopheads or lager lovers )

Creamy stout with perfect sweetness and chocolate flavor. Slight bitterness. Very roasty tasting. Could be a dessert beer, but doesn't have to be. Very nice.

12oz bottle pours with a nice dark body that supports a thin mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up some sweet dark fruity esters and earthy malts mixing with milk chocolate. The taste is pretty smooth where your senses are hit by a mix of milk chocolate blunted by some dark roasted malts. It then rolls into more chocolate goodness and a light cream soda sensation. Tasty stuff that delivers just what it claims.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle thanks to my friend Tony in a case bottle swap. Pours black with a slight tan head. Roasty aroma, dark chocolate and coffee. Bitter sweet taste with a slightly dry aftertaste for a cream stout. Lacing falls down the glass as it empties. Thicker than usual mouth feel for Breckenridge brews.
