2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Pours a hazy gold with a lacy, mixed-grain white head. Nose is phenols, wheat, yeast, orange, and spice. Slightly sweet up front, with a lemon-orange tinge; body is medium, with a little bitterness and round cereal elements. No real agave note to it. Finish is ephemeral and short. It’s all right, but there’s nothing notable about it.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Old Town Pour House in Gaithersburg, MD served in a half-pint glass. Hazy golden-amber color with white head. Aroma notes of heavy pale malt sweetness, bread and light fruitiness. Taste is also pretty sweet adding citrus notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, sticky with light sweet citrus finish. Okay enough wheat ale, refreshing but a little sweet.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma had agave on the nose first followed by wheat
Appearance was cloudy amber, kinda darker than a a typical wheat, maybe due to the agave
Taste was sweet wort with somewhat of a wheat
Palate: mouthfeel was thin and decently carbonated but an awfully sweet finish, needs a more attenuating yeast or something
Overall: very meh. Not bad but certainly one of the lesser wheats I have ever had.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours hazy orange-amber with a thin beige head, low retention. Aromas of orange, bread, caramel. Light body, somewhat watery, velvety carbonation. Medium sweet, a little tartness, mild lingering bitter finish in which an agave note is nearly detectable with some imagination. Somewhat refreshing but a little sweet.

Draught @ Albion. Cloudy bright orange with small off-white foamy head, high carbonation, citrus taste, abrupt finish with slight lemon peel bitterness remaining. Did not get the agave flavor at all.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/4/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness and light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. very nice robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earty yeast flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a damn nice pale wheat ale style. All around great robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
