4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/4/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness and light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. very nice robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earty yeast flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a damn nice pale wheat ale style. All around great robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap at Peel’s. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a decent small bead white head that laces the glass. Aroma is grain and agave. Taste is sweet wheat malt, grassiness, mild citrus and once again a bit of the agave fruit. A good American wheat.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A little lacking. Faint wheat and sweet aroma. Light copper color with a small head. Minimal flavor with hints of wheat, some sweetness and very little hops influence. Light and somewhat watery palate with high carbination. Not hard to drink, just unexceptional.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught at Anejo in Falmouth, MA. Arrived a hazy yellow gold with a moderate, somewhat fuffy white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left aprtial lace. Mild aroma of wheat with some lemon and a hint of fruity sweetness which I took for the agave. The flavor was malt with mild wheat and lemon and again a bit of fruit sweetness which I assume is from the agave. Mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Refreshing.
