This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Pours a hazy gold with a d medium white head. Has a floral and honey aroma with a nice hops note. Almost tastes like a typical lager but, there is a bit more bitter and a hint of sweet. Very light body and thin. A nice refreshing beer that is good for a hot summer day, but there are better beers for that.

Keg at the Waylon - NYC. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Pretty basic stuff, some bread, doughy wheat, citrus. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish with some citrus rind, wheat bread, mild piney hops. So so.

On tap at Peel’s. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a decent small bead white head that laces the glass. Aroma is grain and agave. Taste is sweet wheat malt, grassiness, mild citrus and once again a bit of the agave fruit. A good American wheat.

Bottle thanks to stephrocks: Poured a hazy murky burnt yellow with a fast dissipating white head. Strong wheat nose. Taste is wet strong wheat, not much else going on.

Rated based on notes taken 21 Mar 2012 -- Agave gives an interesting tartness. Nothing too special here though.

A little lacking. Faint wheat and sweet aroma. Light copper color with a small head. Minimal flavor with hints of wheat, some sweetness and very little hops influence. Light and somewhat watery palate with high carbination. Not hard to drink, just unexceptional.

On draught at Anejo in Falmouth, MA. Arrived a hazy yellow gold with a moderate, somewhat fuffy white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left aprtial lace. Mild aroma of wheat with some lemon and a hint of fruity sweetness which I took for the agave. The flavor was malt with mild wheat and lemon and again a bit of fruit sweetness which I assume is from the agave. Mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Refreshing.

Appearance: pours with a small off white head, the beer is very hazy to the point it's not transparent, average orange color Aroma: orange citrus, perhaps lime Taste: wheat grain initially and on the finish, light bitterness on the finish as well, not very complex Palate: average carbonation, very light bitter aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: not a bad wheat beer, has some subtle flavors to it but not any strong flavors, I think the agave comes thru as lime ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
