CaptainCougar (4601), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy bright golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly pale semi-sweet malts. Body starts with an average viscosity and mild pale malty sweetness with a touch of grain and light agave character. Finishes drier and more bitter, but overall, pretty bland. hopdog (4444), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 24, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a deeper and cloudy golden color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of wheat, agave (I’m assuming), honey comb, a little ’sweaty’, and light citrus. Tastes of wheat, honey, and lemons. Wheat was more pronounced in the aromas. Thinner body. Cornfield (4254), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Apr 6, 2008 Not much to distinguish this from the typical American wheat ale. It pours a cloudy pale straw body with a slender fizzy head. The aroma is Wheaties with a light lemon zest bitterness. Spritzy mouthfeel. It tastes much as it smells, the malt somewhat toasty, the agave really not coming across as more than a suggestion. Wouldn’t be bad in hot weather.

JPDIPSO (4189), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA May 29, 2008 Cloudy golden color with a moderate off-white head. Dry wheat and damp cellar scents. Not much for the nose. After a while I think I am detecting some nectar, but I might just be trying to hard. Light sweet start with mild malt, grain and light honey. SLightly floral in the middle. I do catch a bit of agave in the finish and linger, but not enough to make this anything special.
