Thanks to matta for bringing this one. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is slight agave, bread, sweetness, and some spice. Flavor is similar with some sweetness, sugar, bread, and nowhere near tequila, but you can tell agave has touched it. Interesting and very sessionable beer.

Cloudy lemon yellow in color. The head is reminiscent of foamy egg whites. Nice citrus tang on the palate with an interesting cardboard aroma as a juxtaposition. Overall, an slightly above average wheat but nothing that knocked my socks off.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2011 A bitter/sweet combination awaits the drinker on this one. Not sure I like that combo though. 2.0
RE-RATE 7/6/11 Tap. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a light white ring of head. Aroma is fat lemons and citrus. Wheat tones and grain. Flavor is dry and sweet with a large citrus element and grains. I am not entirely certain this is actually the correct beer as I was drinking a Rahr beforehand and it tastes awfully similar. Oh well, I know I’ve had this before.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow (almost yolk colored) with a decent white head that fades. Aroma is of wheat and lemon. Taste is of wheat, lemon and agave. Fairly smooth, clean and easy to drink. Not a bad brew and is refreshing. I have to agree with the commercial description in that it is familiar, yet creative.

On tap at the Flying Saucer in KC. Pours a cloudy, orange body with an inch thick, dense foam, white head that dissipates at a moderate pace and leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is some sweeter and light wheat malts, bread, sweet oranges and tangerines, and slightly tart lemons. Flavor starts sweet and fruity with a light tartness before more wheat bread comes in. Finishes slightly juicy with a bit of a tart earth and lingering sweet wheats. Palate is medium bodied and smooth. Overall, a pretty tasty wheat with enough bright flavors to satisfy. Straightforward, but solid.

Hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Yeasty, wheat aroma, slight citrus. Light, refreshing wheat beer flavor with a faint, unusual but not in a bad way (i’m guessing agave) flavor and a touch of citrus from hops. Mostly sweet, with a little tartness on the finish. I wouldn’t have been able to tell there was agave in this if it wasn’t on the label. Decent, refreshing wheat beer though.

12 oz bottle - pours a cloudy dark yellow with a very thin head. Aroma of wheat, light fruit and spice - notes of malt. Taste is wheaty, fruity and sweet - from the agave I assume. Palate is syrupy. I thought it almost had a little bit of a citrus thing going on too. I didn’t expect a whole lot from this brew but I actually enjoyed it more than I anticipated- it was perfect for what I was looking for at the moment - a refreshing brew to knock back while sitting on the patio with a book on a 95 degree (and humid) late afternoon after work - and it did it’s job commendably.

Bottle. Taste is cloudy lemon zest, wheat, summer fruits and light hops. Nice summer beer.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2011 Tasted on tap at Breckenridge Brewery in Denver, Colorado. Yellow-orange hazy appearance. Sweet, foreign aroma, probably from the agave extract, and also mildly yeastly. Sweet, yet skunky wheat malty flavor. Pretty smooth American Wheat beer with a twist.

On tap at petrol station. Pours a hazy gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet wheat notes that is joined by a bit of agave. Flavor has more agave backed by sweet grains and a hint of a pineapple note.
