COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

It’s not a bad wheat but just kind of average. It was pretty smooth but nothing stood out too much. It tasted a bit watered down flavor wise but not objectionable. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but wouldn’t turn down a free pint.

Sample at the Pint Room on 4/27/13. Clear orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of malt, banana and herbs. Malty and orangy flavor with some banana before a mild finish.

Tannish yellow and slightly cloudy, fairly good head to start but dissipates after a bit, lacing is pretty sparse. Aroma is typically wheat beer, with some grass, some hay, some light yeast. Taste is again pretty wheat beer oriented. If I didn’t know it had agave in it, I wouldn’t have guessed. There’s a sweetness tho that might be coming from the agave. Also a good wheat malt backbone and a good light citrusy hop presence to balance it out. Body is pretty easy drinking, yet a bit thick and chewy like a good wheat beer should be. Carbonation is light and there’s a slight slickness to the feel. Overall it’s an easy drinking summer beer, nothing world class going on but as far as agave beers go, this is probably the best one I’ve had.

Not your average wheat... Falls short of a sunset wheat or blue moon, but everyone needs a thirdwheel option. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Agressive pour yields a finger of creamy eggshell/white head on top of a pale golden/orange body with a light haze. At first sniff, the aroma is lightly sweet and malty. The wheat becomes more prevalent as it warms. Aside from knowing agave is used, the flavor is not apparent. Nice crisp and clean wheat ale... there is a light sweetness, but the main attraction is the wheat. Decent session brew.

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a murky, very bubbly yellow with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of wheat and fruit along with grain, some papery notes and light sugary notes. Flavour is watery and mediocre, somewhat sweet and of vegetal notes along with wheat, some fruit, light hops and citrus. Average bodied. Quite mediocre -- not very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
