Not unpleasing. Doesn’t seem to have that Old Ale Strength. I would drink again. Non descript.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice fest beer. Not sure about its hybrid style, but enough caramel notes for a fall offering. I guess it has a crisp, low bitterness finish.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pleasant enough, but unremarkable in a "Becks Dark" kind of way. Tried from a bottle - might be more interesting on draft...

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The color of this beer is a nice clear deep garnet with a small white head, and the aroma has caramel malts and roasted malts. The taste of this beer is quite sour and slightly bitter, and the palate combines a soft carbonation, thin texture, medium body, and sour finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear but dark brown with some quickly settling white head, almost no lacing. Aroma is malty, sweet, nutty, toffee. Flavor is sweet, nutty malt with a mild, sweet, nutty finish. Relatively straightforward but pleasant, not much balance and maltier than any old ale I’ve had before. Soft to moderate carbonation, light body, and crisp texture. A nutty, simple beer.
